WWE has announced that Saturday Night’s Main Event will return on July 12th, with the show set to take place in Atlanta, Georgia.
Notably, this is the same day AEW is scheduled to hold its All In event.
Additionally, WWE revealed its plans for the Great American Bash to also be held in Atlanta, though no specific date was provided. Since 2020, the Great American Bash has been presented as an NXT television special.
And finally, it was announced during a commercial break on Saturday Night’s Main Event that WWE is reviving its all-women’s event, Evolution, as part of a special weekend lineup.
The announcement sets the stage for a stacked week of action, which includes NXT Great American Bash and Saturday Night’s Main Event, both taking place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Saturday Night’s Main Event is scheduled for July 12th, followed by Evolution on July 13th. While an NXT Great American Bash event was mentioned, a specific date has not yet been confirmed.
WWE last held Evolution in October 2018 at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The historic event featured eight matches and was headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the RAW Women’s Championship against Nikki Bella.
