WWE is securing some of the most promising talents in Europe, and now another emerging star is set to join their ranks.
As we previously reported here on eWn, Aigle Blanc and Mike D Vecchio are expected to sign with WWE by September.
Fightful has shared an update on a third name that is potentially WWE-bound.
According to the report, Spanish ace Zozaya is also expected to finalize a deal with WWE this fall.
This brings the total to three high-caliber international signings with extensive backgrounds, all scheduled to enter WWE developmental later this year.
Sources suggest that WWE recruiter James Amner is managing the contracts for this trio.
While talents like Blanc (France) and Vecchio (Belgium) have experience from promotions such as wXw, RevPro, and All Japan Pro Wrestling, Zozaya has been a prominent figure in the Spanish and UK wrestling scene.
The report also hinted at more signings on the horizon.
“We have heard that at least one more talent is expected to sign with the promotion, but have yet to hear of any UK based talent as of this writing.”
And finally, the report mentioned that Goldenboy Santos is “currently dealing with an injury and retains interest from WWE but is not expected to sign with the company right now.”
