As we previously reported here on eWn, former WWE Chairman and TKO executive Vince McMahon is preparing for his next business endeavor.

This new venture is classified as an “entertainment hub company” aimed at financing, developing, and producing film and television projects. It will be located in the Los Angeles area.

Fightful Select has shared more details on McMahon’s new project and the reactions it has elicited within WWE.

According to the report, sources indicated that the new business is not intended to function like a wrestling promotion. However, it has been suggested that “it’s not out of the realm of possibility” for the company to fund something related to wrestling.

As early as two months ago, speculation arose among those close to McMahon that he was preparing a new business initiative. This suspicion emerged because some individuals who departed WWE held secure positions and reportedly wouldn’t have left unless they had a new venture planned with McMahon.

WWE talent say they were unaware of McMahon’s plans to launch a new entertainment firm and stated they hadn’t been approached.

Within the entertainment industry, skepticism exists regarding the viability of McMahon’s latest business venture.

An actor remarked, “I find it hard to believe that anyone would attach themselves to this company considering his background, but there are plenty of people who just don’t care and are desperate to get their project off the ground. I can’t imagine anything actually getting done until his lawsuit is settled.”

Moreover, the report highlights that McMahon’s new entertainment group has interviewed individuals within the entertainment industry about potential upcoming projects, though specific details remain unknown.

McMahon stepped down as TKO Executive Chairman in January following accusations and a civil lawsuit from former WWE employee Janel Grant, who sued McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE for sex trafficking, rape, and more.
