WWE is in the process of making major adjustments to its creative plans for an upcoming pay-per-view event.
As we previously reported here on eWn, Liv Morgan’s recent shoulder injury has forced the company to overhaul several key storylines. Morgan will undergo surgery and is expected to be out of action for an extended period of time, according to multiple sources.
Morgan had been heavily involved in ongoing storylines with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella and was slated for a prominent role at the upcoming all-women’s Evolution pay-per-view event. She was also involved in a developing WWE Women’s Championship feud with IYO SKY and currently holds the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Raquel Rodriguez.
WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE’s creative team has begun reworking plans, with particular focus on “significantly reshaping” the upcoming Evolution event.
WWE Evolution is set for July 12, 2025, live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
