WWE Friday Night SmackDown will transition from FOX to the USA Network starting this week.
The move occurred sooner than planned after WWE and the USA Network announced a five-year deal for SmackDown’s rights when it’s up with FOX. The move was originally scheduled for October.
However, due to FOX’s plan to move several September episodes of SmackDown to FS1 because of college football, USA agreed to take SmackDown earlier. As expected, several exciting matchups and segments are lined up for the show.
According to a report from WrestleTix, WWE SmackDown has sold 12,478 tickets, with 1,374 remaining. Over the last three days, 201 tickets have been sold.
During their previous visit to the Climate Pledge Arena on April 10th for RAW, WWE sold 10,520 tickets.
