If you’ve watched pro wrestling in the last decade, you’ve heard fans chant “this is awesome!” Leave it to WWE to co-opt the phrase for themselves and name a television series after it.
WWE’s This Is Awesome first aired on July 29, 2022 on the WWE Network and Peacock. Hosted by Greg Miller, the show looked back at all of the moments that had fans chanting “this is awesome!” The show has been renewed for a second season, as announced on their latest episode.
The second season will kick off by looking back at the Most Awesome Royal Rumble moments. There is no confirmed date for the second season premiere, but given the subject matter, fans should probably expect it to air sometime around the Rumble itself.
The 2023 Royal Rumble will take place on Saturday, January 28th from the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. It will stream live on Peacock in the United States, and on the WWE Network elsewhere.
