— WWE’s website confirmed that Justin Gabriel injured himself at WrestleMania 28 and will be out for several weeks with torn ligaments and stressed muscles in the elbow. Gabriel told the website:
“I tried a different variation of [the 450 Splash] coming off the ropes and I guess I just landed funny. I don’t exactly know what happened.”
WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann said:
“When he came down on his opponent he hyperextended and twisted his elbow, Fortunately there is no surgery required and this is just a rehab issue.”
