Zelina Vega took to Twitch following her WWE release on Friday.
During her livestream, Vega got very emotional and thanked her viewers and subscribers for continuing to support her. She also referenced Tommy Dreamer, The Rock, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Norman Siley, saying she was grateful for all of them. She revealed that she isn’t angry over her WWE departure but said she is heartbroken. She said she’ll “forever be thankful and forever be grateful” for her time in WWE and said she had nothing bad to say about WWE. She said it was her dream since she was four years old to be a WWE Superstar and she accomplished that.
Vega said she’s “definitely not done” wrestling and won’t be retiring. She said she will keep her fans updated through her Twitch account. She continued to thank WWE and expressed gratitude for being able to work with people like Rey Mysterio and The Rock. She said “there’s a reason for everything, even if I don’t see it right now” and said that as much as today was probably the worst day of her life, she was grateful for all the support she’s received.
She promoted her OnlyFans account, saying it was just for her cosplay so she wasn’t/isn’t flooding all her social media accounts with them.
You can watch her livestream at this link. It’s pretty emotional and you can tell she’s upset about being let go. Some people believe WWE is trying to “make an example” out of Vega for her stance on streaming.
