Today is Zelina Vega’s birthday, and her birthday wish is a match with Ronda Rousey.
Zelina hasn’t been in the ring all that often in 2022. Her last televised match was in April, facing off against Bianca Belair in a losing effort.
Zelina has been competing on the house show loop: she teamed with Damien Priest and Legado del Fantasma to take on Liv Morgan, Braun Strowman, Matt Riddle, and Madcap Moss on December 2nd. Vega also competed at Monday night’s house show in Madison Square Garden. Legado del Fantasma was in action once again, this time against Hit Row. Unfortunately, Vega was on the losing team of both matches.
But the former Queen of the Ring remains undeterred as she called out the current SmackDown Women’s Champion. Taking to social media, Vega wrote, “I haven’t blown out candles yet this year but we all know what my wish is… @RondaRousey”

It remains to be seen if Vega will get her wish. Rousey is slated to defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Raquel Rodriguez on the December 30th episode of WWE SmackDown.
