He was formerly signed to WWE, where he performed under the ring name Dean Ambrose. He’s also known for his work on the independent circuit under the ring name Jon Moxley between 2004-2011, and 2019-present in All Elite Wrestling. He worked for various promotions including Full Impact Pro (FIP), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Dragon Gate USA (DGUSA), winning the FIP World Heavyweight Championship once and the CZW World Heavyweight Championship twice. In 2019, it was announced he had signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling.

After signing with WWE, Good competed in their developmental territories Florida Championship Wrestling and NXT until 2012. He joined the main roster in 2012 as a member of The Shield with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Ambrose won his first championship while in the group, the United States Championship, with his 351-day reign being the third-longest in history and a company record within WWE.

Following The Shield’s breakup, Ambrose has gone on to become a one-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, a three-time Intercontinental Champion, and a two-time Raw Tag Team Champion (with Seth Rollins). He was also the 2016 Money in the Bank ladder match winner and successfully cashed in his contract to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Upon winning the Raw Tag Team Championship in August 2017, Ambrose became the twenty-seventh Triple Crown Champion and the sixteenth Grand Slam Champion. In January 2019, reports surfaced stating that Good would not be renewing his WWE contract, which expired shortly after WrestleMania 35, ending his near-decade long run with the company.

After signing with AEW, Jon Moxley defeated Chris Jericho to become the AEW World Champion at Revolution in February 2020. After a lengthy reign during the pandemic, he lost the title to Kenny Omega. They later competed in the first-ever C4 Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch in AEW history.
