Kippen began his career with the World Association of Wrestling after graduating from the promotion’s wrestling school. He competed throughout England and Europe, capturing various titles including the IPW:UK World Championship and World Of Sport Wrestling Tag Team Championship.
In 2018, he debuted for Ring of Honor before signing with AEW in 2019. Sabian made his AEW debut at Double Or Nothing. He was previously announced for the Casino Battle Royale, and instead he wrestled and defeated Sammy Guevara; which was AEW’s first-ever singles match. In September 2020, he introduced his new tag team partner known as Miro (fka Rusev in WWE). He married fellow wrestler Penelope Ford in 2021.
