Michael Cole is an American professional wrestling commentator and former journalist. Since 1997, he has been signed to WWE in which he has performed multiple on-screen hosting and commentary roles across his 2-decade plus long career, beginning with WWF LiveWire. Currently, he serves as the play-by-play commentator for the SmackDown brand, and since 2020, has served as Vice President of Announcing.

He has had interactions with many wrestlers in the past, including such names (but not all) as: Heidenreich, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Jerry Lawler, Stephanie McMahon, Vito, and D-Generation X. He has commentated alongside: Tazz, Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross, Mick Foley, JBL, Jonathan Coachmen, Josh Matthews, Matt Striker, Todd Grisham, Booker T, Corey Graves, Renee Young and more.

His most notable feud was against Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross which ended in a match between Cole and Lawler at Wrestlemania XXVII.
