#1. Ricky Starks & Big Bill vs. Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli – Winners: Ricky Starks & Big Bill
Ricky Starks low blowed Bryan Danielson and followed it up with his finish to secure the pinfall.

Following a quick recap and then a promo by Hangman Page and the Young Bucks, The Hung Bucks vs. The Mogul Embassy is made official for AEW Rampage: Grand Slam.

We see back-to-back vignettes featuring Powerhouse Hobbs and Miro. It’s the usual stuff… Hobbs talked about the ‘Book of Hobbs’ and then warns the AEW locker room; Miro then calls him a son of a beeyatch and says they’ll cross paths in the future, before talking about his hot, flexible wife for a while as well.

#2. AEW World Tag-Team Championship: FTR (C) vs. Iron Savages – Winners: FTR
After the match, The WorkHorsemen enter the arena and seemingly issue a challenge to FTR for the titles. ‘Cause that’s a dream match everyone wants to see and The WorkHorsemen are a very legitimate threat. Gosh… the booking…

Keith Lee’s backstage with Lexy Nair for an interview, but they are interrupted by Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty. Taylor introduces Moriarty as the newest member of Shane Taylor Promotions.

#3. John Silver vs. Anthony Bowens – Winner: John Silver
The finish saw Anthony Bowens on top, only for Evil Uno to sneak up from under the ring and get a cheap shot in. Silver then took advantage for the 1-2-3!

In a backstage segment, NJPW Strong Openweight Eddie Kingston, ahead of challenging his bitter rival, ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli, in a title for title match at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, recounts their twenty-year history, right from when Castagnoli came to America and stayed with him. He then vows to beat Castagnoli come Grand Slam.

Backstage with Renee Paquette, HOOK & Orange Cassidy are having some Doritos. They play with the idea of teaming up for some tag team action at Grand Slam.

#4. Aussie Open vs. Job Guys – Winners: Aussie Open
Following a quick squash win, Kyle Fletcher cuts a fired uo promo, calling out FTR for a match at AEW WrestleDream on October 1st. Titles or not, Aussie Open want them in Seattle, coincidentally one year to the day from the last time the teams shared the ring.

We now cut to part one of a multi-part vignette series – “Toni Storm: Portrait Of A Star.” Guess who she’s sitting down with… RJ City! Right, so this was absolute gold. STorm’s doing some brilliant work and RJ City, who is immensely entertaining and talented, fits quite well in this scenario.

We see a vignette featuring Scorpio Sky, who talks about being thrown is the deep end in AEW. He is a former champion; he does not mind it. On that note,, we head to the ring for our next match.
#5. Scorpio Sky vs. Andrade El Idolo – Winner: Andrade El Idolo
Great match! Following the match, Bullet Club Gold came out to the stage. Jay White says that he noticed that Andrade has his eyes on BCG. He issues a challenge to Andrade for a match on Collision next week, which is pretty much set.

#6. The Hardys vs. The Righteous – Winners: The Righteous
Following the match, The Righteous cut a promo issuing a challenge to the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Adam Cole and MJF.

Several matches are confirmed for Grand Slam after the challenges issued tonight.

Standing by with Tony Schiavone, FTR issue warnings to The WorkHorsemen and then Aussie Open. FTR vs. Aussie Open is confirmed for WrestleDream.

Tony Schiavone is standing by with Ricky Starks and Big Bill for a backstage chat. Starks is not happy that at WrestleDream, Bryan Danielson is wrestling a non-AEW contracted talent at the show while he’s not booked yet. He brags about having pinned Danielson tonight, and says that while beating Danielson may be a dream for many, he wants to end him. Next week on Collision, he wants Danielson in a Texas Death Match.

#7. Kris Statlander vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D – Winner: Kris Statlander
Great main event! Britt Baker had the champion in the Lockjaw toward the crescendo, but Statlander rolled her up for the pinfall victory. Following the match, Statlander offered Baker a handshake, and she accepted. Meanwhile, Julia Hart was seen in the rafters, seemingly having her eyes on the TBS Champion.
We got a quick rundown of the lineup for AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, as COllision went off the air.
