#1. Double Jeopardy Match: ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli vs. ROH Tag Team Champion Rey Fenix – Winner: Claudio Castagnoli

Backstage, we see that Miro is in the building. We see Renee Moxley Good try to get something there, but Miro doesn’t say anything and heads to Tony Khan’s office.

MJF is seen in a sensational VTR package.

FTR are confronted by Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett and crew. As they trade verbal barbs, Mark Briscoe emerged to calm things down and announces that at Double or Nothing, he will be the special guest for the AEW Tag Title match between the two teams. He then calls for a toast, ad as all men get their drinks, Sonjay spits in Dax Harwood’s face.

The fight is on. As everyone brawls, Briscoe is caught in the middle. Jarrett ultimately shoves Briscoe aside, causing him to collide with Harwood, who was temporarily blinded by alcohol being spit in his eyes. Harwood unintentionally executes a pile-driver on Briscoe. While Briscoe is being examined, Dax is also checking on him, A frustrated Mark pushes Dax off his back.

Following up from Rampage, Chris Jericho is intent on banning Adam Cole from AEW buildings and holds a contract. Roddy Strong walks in and cuts a promo about his friendship with Adam Cole before tricking Jericho into accepting a ‘Falls Count Anywhere’ match next week, with JAS banned from the building.

Mrs. Moxley Good is standing outside Tony Khan’s locker room to catch an update on the Mir situation, but it is instead Thunder Rosa who walks up. She enters Khan’s locker room and we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break, TK hypes up tonight’s show before teasing a huge announcement for next week. Great! another one of those!

#2. AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy vs. Daniel Garcia – Winner: Orange Cassidy

Christian Cage is out with Luchasaurus. We learn that Wardlow and Arn Anderson are not in attendance. Christian cuts a great heel promo, taking shots at wrestlers with “daddy issues,” such as Jungle Boy Jack Perry and Wardlow. He then proceeds to malign Arn Anderson, before asking Detroit to kiss his ass.

#3. No Holds Barred: Anna Jay AS vs. Julia Hart – Winner: Julia Hart

We see a graphic highlighting the “Open House Rules.”

Backstage, The Best Friends and Bandido (and of course Orange Cassidy) cut a goofy promo before their ‘Open House’ match for the AEW World Trios Championship.

#4. AEW World Trios Championship “Open House” Match: The House of Black vs. Bandido and Best Friends – Winner: The House of Black

The lights were off for duration of the match, except for the spotlight on the ring.

#5. Steel Cage Match: Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley – Winner: Jon Moxley

This was every outlaw mudshow garbage “wrestling” fan’s wet dream and every wrestling purist’s worst nightmare. The Young Bucks and Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta brawled during the entrances. Bryan Danielson was on commentary.

There were thumbtacks and screwdrivers and broken glass and barbed wire and whatnot, and the ring ropes and turnbuckles were all removed during picture-in-picture.

The finish saw Mox try to use the screwdriver, but Callis snatched it from him. This allowed Omega to land the V-Trigger and the One-Winged Angel. Then suddenly, Don Callis, like the demented f**k he is, screwdriver in hand, stabbed Olivier.

Why snatch the screwdriver away from Mox in the first place?? I’ll tell you why, this is AEW, the less something makes sense, the more likely it is to happen.

Anyway, this allowed Mox to pick up the win. The crowd rained down boos and Callis, like the demented f**k he is, now kisses Olivier in a weird way and drops him.

That’s it for tonight! That was AEW, and it was AEW alright…
