“Dynamite” opens up this week with Jon Moxley coming straight to the ring for a match.

“Death Rider” Jon Moxley (4-0-1 singles, 4-1-1 overall) vs. Alex Reynolds (0-2 overall)

Moxley comes in the ring, knees Reynolds– who doesn’t even get a name – and hits the Paradigm Shift of the pin! They didn’t even bother naming Reynolds.

Winner: Moxley via pinfall (Paradigm Shift)

After the match Moxley takes out Reynolds’ tag partner John Silver, as well.

The Inner Circle come out and surrounds Moxley around the ring. Jericho gets in the ring with Moxley and tells him that if they were going to ambush Moxley they would have already done it, so he can calm down. “The Inner Circle and I just want to say how we’re impressed with you since coming to AEW,” Jericho says. “It’s not a surprise because we have a long history together – you and me – right? When you first came onto the nation-wide scene you came to me and asked me for some help.”

Jericho says after that they became adversaries and “beat the living shit” out of each other. Jericho says he taught Moxley how to be a main event star and a champion, and when years later he needed to reignite his passion for the business Moxley called Jericho. Jericho says he “navigated” Moxley to AEW.

Jericho says that Moxley is just now starting to reach his full potential and he once again needs Jericho. Jericho asks what it would be like if Moxley joined forces with The Inner Circle. He offers Moxley a spot in the group and holds up an Inner Circle T-shirt.

Jericho says this isn’t an answer he can give in one night and he wants him to take some time and talk it over with his family, and when he’s ready they’ll be waiting for him. Jericho says that they could take control of AEW together. “That is a true Paradigm shift,” Jericho says.

A video package highlighting the feud between PNP and The Young Bucks airs. Excalibur says that he has been calling Young Bucks matches for 15 years and he’s seen the Bucks do “some crazy shit” but says when the rules are thrown out they take it up even further. He points out the old “Guerilla Warfare” matches they used to have in PWG and says the match with PNP will be “something else.”

The Butcher & The Blade (0-0 tag team) w/Allie vs. “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (5-2-1 overall) & QT Marshall (0-2 overall)

MJF says he heard Cody’s proposal last week but he says he doesn’t need his “crap” or his money. He says he has enough money to last a lifetime. “What I need from you, Cody, is to suffer,” MJF says. MJF says that Cody called him a “knockoff Chris Jericho” and insults him for needing to think that one up for hours.

MJF says that Cody called his scarf “fake” but that is ironic because when he thinks of the word “fake” he thinks of Cody. “I think of the word ‘fake’ when I see that blonde hair that looks like a cat pissed on it,” he says. MJF mocks Cody’s lisp which elicits a pretty big reaction from the fans in the way of boos.

MJF dares Cody to get Tony Khan to fire him but says he won’t do that because he wants to get his hands on MJF more than anything in the world. MJF says the fans want to see it more than anything. “Guess what, Cody, you’re on!” MJF screams.

MJF says he’ll take the match but there will be stipulations to it. He says he’ll give him those stipulations in Jacksonville on January 1, 2020. “I want you to remember this I’m in control and not you,” he says. “Because I’m better than you and you know it.”
