Chris Jericho comes out for commentary.

FTR vs. The Butcher and The Blade

FTR wins when they hit a double team piledriver on The Blade for the win.

Winners: FTR

After the match, they say that this is the pinnacle of wrestling before The Young Bucks cme out. Nick wanted to say thank you to FTR and congratulate them on having a great match, but they also asked for them to formally introduce themselves. Matt and Nick introduce themselves and say they’ve been carrying tag team wrestling for the last decade in a half, they are the best tag team in AEW, and they extend their hand out saying it’s nice to meet them.

The Butcher and The Blade jump The Young Bucks from behind and Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc join in before Adam Page and Kenny Omega come to their aide.

It is announced next week that Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall will challenge for the tag titles next week. Rhodes tells Marshall that he needs him focused and to take any distractions out of his head.

Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander vs. Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford

Ford and Rose win when Ford pins Shida with a fisherman’s suplex for the win.

Winners: Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford

Darby Allin is backstage and he’s mad that he’s still not medically cleared to wrestle, but he preps his skateboard and gabs a ladder and does his thing.

Jake Hager, Santana and Ortiz vs. Best Friends and Orange Cassidy

Best Friends and Orange Cassidy wins with Cassidy rolls up Ortiz for the win.

Winners: Best Friends and Orange Cassidy

After the match, Jericho joins an assault by the Inner Circle and strikes Cassidy with a bat. Jericho then gets a bag of oranges from under the ring. Cassidy is bleeding from the side of his face and Jericho strikes Cassidy with the bag of oranges.

Jericho says Orange Cassidy has just been juiced.

MJF reminds everyone he’s been ranked number 1 for three weeks in a row, he’s been undefeated in a row and is upset that Jungle Boy got a title shot before him. He says people are only jealous because he’s the ceiling, and he’s a great white shark in a sea of menos. Billy Gunn cuts him off and says he’s a shark. MJF says he’s surprised he isn’t trying to get his talentless sons jobs. MJF shoves one of them before Gunn cuts him off. Wardlow steps in and the two have a staredown.

We get a Colt Cabana/Dark Order segment.

Sammy Guevara vs. Colt Cabana

Sammy wins after getting a high knee for the win.

Winner: Sammy Guevara

After the match, the Dark Order comes out and Brodie Lee helps Colt Cabana on his feet before leaving.

Sammy Guevara requests his music to be played and that this is his moment, before Matt Hardy comes out. Hardy says that he sees a young Matt in Sammy and that he’s the future of AEW. He offers some advice, and says that in order to realize his maximum potential, he has to distance himself from Chris Jericho.

Sammy asks why Matt should be trusted since he tried to run him over and kill him and calls him a moron. Matt brings out the Broken side and warns Sammy to heed his words.

Joey Janela video package plays and says he’s been kind of fading into the darkness. We see him at a bar taking shots and he says he feels his best moments in wrestling are behind some time and that he lost his direction some time in the last six months. He gets into a car with Sonny Kiss and they drive off.

Colt Cabana is interviewed backstage and is asked what he’s going through after consecutive losses. He says nothing and enters Brodie Lee’s locker room.

Jon Moxley arrives to the arena and he says that he’s a bad mood, not only because of how hurt he is, but because he has no patience for people who run their mouth when they don’t know what they’re talking about. He says Tazz getting under his skin worked and he can’t wait for Fyter Fest so he can pop Brian Cage like a pimple. What separates him from others in AEW is that he’s a miserable son of a bitch that gets easily pissed off, and the idea that anyone can beat him makes him train harder, hit harder, less apologetic and more violent.

Tazz comes out and tells Moxley to get his head right before Brian Cage attacks him from behind. Moxley fights back but Cage gives Moxley a spinebuster on the hood of a car. He attempts to hit his finisher, but Tazz says the message was already sent. He lets him go, but he launches Moxley on the back of the car before leaving.

Cody Rhodes (C) vs. Mark Quen – TNT Championship

Cody is able to win with an Ankle lock.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

After the match, Jake Hager comes out and chokes out Arn Anderson and tosses Cody aside with an overhead slam. After the match, Private Party come out with chairs and strike him with it. Hardy sends Hager flying with a clothesline. Hager retreats. The rest of the Inner Circle come out on the ramp to back him up and both sides brawl in the ring. Officials come out to break it up.

After the two sides are separated, Cody says he already knows what Hager wants, and at Fyter Fest, Hager will get a TNT Title match.
