Backstage, MJF talks with Dasha about Wardlow potentially winning the tournament. If he ends up winning the title, MJF says he actually ends up being champion since Wardlow is his property. He checks in with Wardlow on that, Wardlow just says sure. Sammy Guevara shows up and throws MJF’s Inner Circle jacket on the ground and says he’s going to do everything he can so MJF won’t join the group. MJF calls off Wardlow. MJF talks some more trash and has a face-off with Guevara for a moment before he heads out to the stage with Wardlow.

Jon Moxley reflects on his past year where he’s defended the AEW World Championship. Moxley says it’s been all business along the way, but at the PPV it’s personal when he takes on Eddie Kingston. Moxley says there will be nobody else to blame when Kingston is forced to say “I quit” at the PPV. Moxley continues that he will crush Kingston’s ego, like he’s done with everyone else he’s faced.

Eddie Kingston in the ring, he’s sick of talking, he wants to fight. Kingston says how dare the champion not show up for tonight’s show, noting he’s a coward. Kingston says instead, he’ll face Sydal, someone who tried to steal his thunder. Kingston reminds everyone he wasn’t eliminated from that match. “Hi, Lance,” camera pans to Lance Archer and Jake Roberts sitting in the crowd.

Excalibur talks with FTR (with Tully) in a separate location, and The Young Bucks. Exaclibur says Matt’s ankle is a sever sprain after FTR’s ambush. Matt says he’s fine, and he’ll be at Full Gear, especially when this match has been years in the match. Harwood says yes this is a dream match, but only being champions matter. Whoever leaves the PPV has cemented their legacy as the best tag team in this world. Excalibur says some might say in the locker room that what happened to Matt was karma for what they’ve been doing these past few weeks. Matt says sometimes good people do bad things, he says something has been missing over the past year. They needed that edge, and that came, in-part, to FTR messing with them. Matt says he doesn’t know if he likes the way he feels, but it’s the way he feels. Excalibur goes to ask Nick another question, but the champs feel like they aren’t even needed here. The champs leaves. Matt and Nick bring up a stipulation for the match. Matt says if they don’t win the title, they will never challenge for the titles ever again.

Inner Circle (minus Jake Hager) make their way to the ring for their Inner Circle Town Hell Meeting to determine if MJF will join the group. MJF heads out next. Tony Schiavone and Dasha are on the stage to moderate. Luchasaurussteps up first to ask MJF a question about how MJF could keep the Inner Circle prosperous going forward? MJF shows some random chart about how much better the group will do with MJF. He says it’s simple math, the group will do better. Britt Baker and Reba show up for a question. Reba seems smitten with Jericho, Baker says she’s acting weird. Baker then says MJF has a terrible track record in AEW, how does that make Jericho feel? Jericho says he’s fully away of MJF’s track record. He says MJF isn’t actually in the group, so he wouldn’t learn all their secrets, if he did turn on them, they’d kick his ass. MJF says if they work together they will make a whole lot of money and win a ton of titles.

Peter Avalon is up next, and asks if he can join the group. They just laugh at him. Eric Bischoffthen shows up to ask a question about what can MJF do for the Inner Circle? MJF says that was a powerful question, so he’ll give a powerful answers: “Friendship.” Crowd boos that. Bischoff continues, asking what can Inner Circle do for MJF? He then brings up Jericho and calls him a “prima dona,” Jericho tries to interrupt, Tony Schiavone tells him to shut up. Bischoff says MJF has the same qualities, so what would keep the two of them from just killing each other, if he joined the group?

MJF says he’s a good person, and has been getting booed, but doesn’t answer the question. Jericho asks MJF to answer the question “How do we know you won’t stab us in the back?” MJF then ask Jericho why doesn’t he answer a question. MJF says over the last few weeks he’s checked off every box on why he should join. MJF wonders what hasn’t he done? Jericho says MJF hasn’t beaten him, but he’ll get a chance at Full Gear on November 7. If MJF wins, he can join the Inner Circle. MJF says he’ll do anything necessary to win. Ortizgets on the mic, says he and Sammy don’t want him in the group. He says MJF doesn’t have a shot. Next week, it’s Ortiz and Sammy vs. MJF and Wardlow.

Taz tells Will Hobbs he wants an answer about joining the group, and he’s running out of time.

Cody (C) vs. Orange Cassidy – TNT Championship

Cody wins with Cross Rhodes.

Post-match, everyone jumps in the ring and brawls. Darby Allin is looking on from way up in the stands. The Gunn Club ends up clearing everyone out of the ring. Cody seems to pay attention to that from the stage.

– Backstage, Best Friends bump into Miro and Kip Sabian. Miro says they have a gift for the guys, no hard feeling. Penelope Ford says trick-or-treat! Miro and Sabian beat the two guys up. Miro throws Trent into a wall, “I will never forgive you! Never!” The gift was just the controller for the arcade that was destroyed previously.

– Backstage, Serena Deeb says she beat Thunder Rosa last night to win the NWAWomen’s World Championship. She says the game has changed and people will respect her going forward.

Post-match, Spears grabs someone from ringside wearing a costume, and throws them into the ring He asks Tully for the steel slug, but the person removes their mask and it’s Scorpio Sky. Sky hits a TKO on spears.

– Commentary runs down the PPV card. Some new matches include Full Gear: The Buy In – Orange Cassidy vs. John Silver. Also, Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara is being called “The Elite Deletion.”
