Here are the results for the November 13th, 2019 edition of AEW Dynamite.
We begin with a video package recapping the results of Full Gear.
There’s a backstage video of Kenny Omega and we get to see the injuries that he suffered at Full Gear, including many lacerations to his back and his right eye being blackened. Omega is told by a doctor that he should probably take a week off to recover. Omega asks the doctor how Jon was doing and he told him that he was cleared.
Jon Moxley vs. Michael Nakazawa
Moxley wins in a relatively short match with a DDT.
Winner: Jon Moxley
After the match, Moxley asks if that victory counts. Jon says he’s a lot of things, but he’s not a liar. He told us what would happen at Full Gear and delivered as promised and advertised. Moxley also claims Omega will never be the same again.
Moxley says he respects Omega because he had the balls to compete in a match no one in the dressing room can. However, he says that he’s on a pilgrimage and that no one is able to escape because he will eventually be the last man standing in AEW. Moxley lays out an open challenge and asks if anyone in AEW is willing to test their own mortality against Jon, just say the word and he’ll remind them of where they stand in the food chain.
He says if you accept the challenge, no one ask Moxley for any apologies, kiss your loved ones goodbye and have an ambulance on speed dial.
Dark Order vs. Jurassic Express
Eventually, Marko Stunt is double teamed as the Dark Order gets the numbers advantage. They are able to hit the Fatality and Dark Uno gets the pin for the victory.
Winners: Jurassic Express
After the match, Dark Uno tries to recruit Marko Stunt and says they can give him purpose. He asks if the wants to be one with the dark order. Stunt goes for the mask, but Jungle Boy gets in the way and prevents him from doing so. The Dark Order jump both of them.
After the assault, Luchassaurus returns and cleans house. He eventually takes out Grayson with a superkick and a standing moonsault. Jungle Boy, Stunt and Luchassaurus celebrate in the ring.
Shawn Spears vs. Darby Allin vs. Peter Avalon
During the match, Joey Janela comes out and brawls with Spears in the crowd. Then, later in the ring, Darby Allin pins Avalon with the top rope Coffin Drop.
Winner: Darby Allin
After the match, he accepts Jon Moxley’s challenge.
Nyla Rose vs. Danny Jordan
Rose wins a relatively easy squash with a Samoan Drop and a sit-out powerbomb.
Winner: Nyla Rose
Allie is interviewed and she talks about wanting to make an impression on Dynamite after her showings on Dark, but she is cut off by Awesome Kong and Brandi Rhodes. Kong takes her out and Kong takes a piece of her hair.
Chris Jericho comes out and said he proved to be who he is, being the greatest of all time. He demands a thank you from every member of the AEW roster and the front office, and he wants it from people who matters, not jackasses from Nashville. Jericho also said he successfully proved that Cody is what he said he was, an entitled, millenial bitch.
Out comes MJF mocking Cody’s entrance. MJF says he has something to get off his chest, and says that Cody’s career would have been over if he didn’t do what he did. He says that Cody was the real villian all this time and he is the one that should be booed, not him. Cody only cares about himself and couldn’t give a shit about anyone else.
MJF says the real Cody is a liar, user and abuser. When Cody looked at him, the only thing he saw is someone that he could make his puppet. The crowd chants BS, but MJF says that the only BS is Cody claiming that he cared about him. Unfortunately, Cody’s thumb is too small to keep MJF down and that he is the new face of AEW. MJF says he’s better than Cody and he knows it.
He then puts Chris Jericho over and says that he would be on the Mount Rushmore of wrestling. MJF also said that he heard a rumor that he wanted him to join the Inner Circle. Jericho says that he heard from a little birdie that he wanted to join. MJF briefly calls the Inner Circle the Inner Circlejerk and passes it off as Fruedian slip. He then inquires about a little bit of the bubbly. However, he says that Jericho must have been drinking too much if he thinks that he needs them.
Jericho talks about the similarities they have and suggests that MJF’s parents must have gotten horny when they were watching him on WCW before he was born. So Jericho asks MJF once again if he wants to be in the Inner Circle. Eventually, the two hug and say that the biggest jackass is Cody Rhodes. That brings out Cody and he talks out both Jericho and MJF and looks to continue the assault, but then Wardlow comes out and takes him down. He chokes him with his tie and MJF says he’s the new face of AEW.
Hangman Page vs. PAC
The two have a hard-hitting physical match that eventually sees PAC stomping Page out relentlessly. He follows up with a Red Arrow and the Brutalizer. Page doesn’t tap, but he’s knocked out and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: PAC
Backstage, we see Santana and Ortiz and The Young Bucks brawling. Eventually, they see Orange Cassidy posing in the bathroom by his lonesome. The Young Bucks and Proud and Powerful take the fight to the arena.
Eventually Santana and Ortiz target Nick’s leg. Ortiz takes a can of spray paint and sprays a circle on a nearby table, and the two slam Matt through it. Brandon Cutler comes out to stop it, but they beat him up too. Private Party comes out and is quickly separated by security.
Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley and Private Party vs. Santana and Ortiz are made official for next week.
SCU (C) vs. Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara – AEW Tag Team Championships
Scorpio Sky is able to kick out of Jericho’s Codebreaker, and he eventually reverses a suplex with a roll-up for the victory.
Winners: SCU
After the match, Chris Jericho throws a fit, takes out the side rails and starts swinging a chair in frustration as AEW goes off the air.
