Here are the results for the October 16th, 2019 edition of AEW Dynamite.

As the night begins, SCU comes out but the Lucha Brothers attack them from behind. Scorpio Sky eventually comes out to save Kazarian from a piledriver. Christopher Daniels gets stretchered out. It looks like Sky is coming in to take Kazarian’s place.

SCU vs. Best Friends

m. Scorpio Sky is wrestling in tennis shoes, and eventually he takes both of his shoes off. He throws the shoe into the crowd but they throw it back at him. After a heated back and forth, Kazarian got a powerbomb and Sky got a dropkick in mid-air to pick up the victory.

Winners: SCU

Santana and Ortiz vs. Jon Silver and Alex Reynolds

Silver and Reynolds got little offense in, as Santana and Ortiz hit the Street Sweeper for the easy victory.

Winners: Santana and Ortiz

Chris Jericho appears on the screen after, and they say that LAX wanted to beat the top tag team in the company. He announces that at Full Gear, LAX will challenge The Young Bucks, and Jericho assures that they will get their asses kicked.

We get a video on Cody’s background and his chase to become AEW World Champion.

Riho (C) vs. Britt Baker – AEW Women’s Championship

Eventually, Britt Baker has the Lockjaw locked in, but Riho is able to counter it into a cradle for the victory, retaining the title.

Winner: Riho

Jurassic Express vs. Lucha Brothers

Pentagon was able to get the arm breaker on Marko Stunt, and the Lucha Brothers got the package piledriver/double stomp combo for the victory. Fenix hit a dive on Jungle Boy outside for good measure.

Winners: Lucha Brothers

Jon Moxley and PAC vs. Kenny Omega and Adam Page

Moxley and Omega get barbed wire weapons and Moxley hits Omega as the referee wants no part of it. PAC tells Moxley to think about what he’s doing before Moxley drops him with a DDT and leaves. Page and Omega double team PAC until Page hits the Deadeye for the win.

Winners: Kenny Omega and Adam Page

Chris Jericho (C) vs. Darby Allin – AEW World Championship (Philadelphia Street Fight)

Darby Allin eventually gets duct tape applied onto him by Jericho. He fights valiantly and heads to the top rope, but Hager comes out and knocks him off. Jericho quickly gets the Wall of Jericho, and Allin submits.

Winner: Chris Jericho

After the match, the rest of the Inner Circle come out with a little bit of the bubbly and celebrate with Jericho in the ring.
