AEW Fight for The Fallen Results: Tag Team Match, Chris Jericho Appears

This post will reflect coverage of the event’s winners throughout the night, starting with the pre-show Buy In at 7:30pm EST and the main card at 8:15.

Main Card Results

MJF, Shawn Spears and Sammy Guevara vs. Joey Janela, Darby Allin and Jimmy Havoc

The crowd was hyped for this contest and behind each guy. After the babyfaces got the early advantage, the heels took over for the majority of the contest. They beat down Janela and kept him from his corner. Janela did a nasty looking Death Valley Driver on Guevara on the ring apron. The finish saw Spears pin Allin with the Death Valley Driver.


Winners: MJF, Shawn Spears and Sammy Guevara


Brandi Rhodes vs. Allie

Awesome Kong walked out and watched at ringside. Allie was distracted at one point that allowed Rhodes to take advantage. Rhodes scored the win. Kong and Brandi attacked Allie after the match but Aja Kong walked out and stood face to face with Awesome Kong to stop the beatdown. 

Winner: Brandi Rhodes


Dark Order vs. Jack Evans and Angelico vs. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus – Winners advance to All Out for an opportunity at a first round bye in the AEW World Tag Team Titles tournament.


The fans were quiet in the early going until Luchasaurus got into the match and they went nuts. Evans and Luchasaurus did some comedy in the match. Dark Order beat down Jungle Boy in the corner to get some crowd heat. All six wrestlers had time to show off their skills and shine. Luchasaurus showed off his ability with a double spinning kick to  Evans and Angelico and then hit a standing moonsault. Marko Stunt came out and hit a hurricanrana to Angelico off the top rope. Luchasaurus tossed Stunt to the floor. Jungle and Luchasaurus hit a series of tag team moves for a near fall. The crowd was going nuts by the end of the match. Dark Order got the win with their tag team finisher on Jungle Boy

Adam Page vs. Kip Sabian

Page worked over the legs of Sabian in the early going until Sabian fought back and tossed him to the floor for a high spot. It was a back and forth match that displayed the heart of Sabian throughout. Page did a sick powerbomb spot from the ring to the entrance ramp. Ross was critical of the referee counting slow. They put over Sabian for fighting through Page throwing everything he had at him. With less than a minute to go, Page hit Dead Eye for the win. 

Winner: Adam Page


Post-match, Chris Jericho hit the Code Breaker to Page while wearing a mask. Jericho hit the Judas Effect. 

Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky vs. Pentagon and Rey Fenix

Christopher Daniels was ringside. The finish was a double stomp off the top while Pentagon hit the package piledriver on Sky with The Lucha Brothers picking up the win. Pentagon attacked Daniels with a ladder after the match. Rey and Pentagon also made it known that they want a ladder match with The Young Bucks at All Out.


Winners: Pentagon and Rey Fenix

Kenny Omega vs. Cima

Omega hit the V Trigger for a near fall late in the match and then hit a neck breaker. Cima also connected with some of his signature moves for near falls. Omega won the match with the One-Legged Angel. 


Winner: Kenny Omega

Chris Jericho walked out to the ring where he cut a promo about having the blood of Hangman Page on his hands. He also wants his thank you from AEW officials and it doesn’t mean anything from the fans. Jericho started trashing on Page until Page came out and they broke out in a brawl. A few wrestlers came out to the ring to separate them.

Cody Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes vs. The Young Bucks

They went back and forth early with both teams getting time to shine. The Young Buck mocked the brothers while beating down Dustin. Cody tossed Nick to the ramp then started whipping Matt with his weight belt. Cody hit an inverted suplex off the middle rope to Matt for 2. Matt reversed a DDT but missed a spear and ate the ring post. Dustin was tagged in and used the post to his advantage to further damage Matt’s left shoulder. 

Dustin and Cody worked over the left shoulder of Matt even more. There was several minutes of Cody working over the left arm of Matt. Moments later, Matt made a comeback with a back drop to the ramp to Cody then followed up with a spear. Nick got the hot tag and landed a series of kicks to Cody then hit a bull dog to Dustin. Nick ate a back elbow but knocked Cody off the middle rope and hit a spring board double stop to Dustin and a back breaker to Cody. 

Cody reversed a sharpshooter but that didn’t stop the Bucks from locking in a double sharpshooter on the brothers, who got out of it and locked in the figure four leg lock. The four men hit clotheslines. Dustin with a series of powerslams. The brothers hit dives to the outside at the same time. Matt is now legal and hit a super kick to Dustin then they went for the Meltzer Driver but Cody hit Disaster Kicks to both stars. 

Dustin and Cody hit their tag team finisher but Nick broke it up. They all started brawling until the referee was knocked down. The Rhodes with double powerslams. Cody went for a spring board move but Nick and Matt hit double super kicks. Dustin with a series of right hands to Nick, who hit a super kick and then Matt with an elbow drop off the top rope. Cody with a super kick to Nick, who fired back with one of his own. 

The Bucks hit double super kicks to the back of Cody’s head for 2. Bucks with double uppercuts but Dustin and Cody hit double super kicks. The Bucks with their own for a near fall. Nick with an outside dive to Dustin then they hit Meltzer Driver to Cody for the win. 

Winners: The Young Bucks

After the match, Cody and some members of the roster showed off the check that they will donate for victims of gun violence.
