Here are the results for the episode of AEW Rampage airing June 3rd, 2022. If you missed it, here are the results from this week’s Dynamite: 6/1

AEW Rampage Results (6/3/2022)

#1. The Young Bucks vs. The Lucha Brothers — Winners: The Young Bucks

#2. Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks vs. Two Jobbers — Winners: Hobbs & Starks

#3. Kiera Hogan & Athena — Winner: Athena

CM Punk is here to address the AEW World Championship. Excalibur says he picked up an injury on Dynamite, but we’re unsure of its severity. Punk doesn’t look happy at all. When he got here earlier today, every bone in his body told him to go home, including the broken ones. His brain told him to say, and his gut told him everyone deserved an explanation, so here he is.

Since he stepped foot in AEW, he would give his all until the wheels fell off. He got good news and bad news. Which do you want first? The last thing he wanted to feel is disappointing everyone. He hopes he hasn’t made people feel that way. Every single time he’s been in this ring, it has been a gift he never thought he would experience again. Here’s the bad news: he’s injured and needs surgery.

A couple of things are broken, including his heart, because he loves to perform. The good news is, he will return and keep going later. One of his wheels is broken, but he has come back from worse. He has felt a lot worse, so this is just a bump in the road. With that being said, let’s talk about the title. There’s a long list of talent who can fill his shoes as champion, like Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley.

Tony Khan told him he believes in CM Punk, and he needed to hear that. Sometimes he gets down on himself and doubt creeps in. Standing here, he promises he won’t let the doubt creep in and ruin anything. The return is going to be bigger than the setback. He’s champion for a reason and he will show you why. He will prove exactly why he is in the best in the world! CM Punk doesn’t say it, but Chris Jericho says he will need to relinquish the title because he cannot defend it.

#4. [TNT Championship] Scorpio Sky (c) vs. Dante Martin — Winner: Scorpio Sky

Commentary announce that Dynamite will begin with a battle royal. The winner of that will face Jon Moxley in the main event of Dynamite, and whoever wins that, will go to Forbidden Door to wrestle Hiroshi Tanahashi to crown an interim AEW World Champion.
