We open the show with Claudio Castagnoli in the ring and he acknowledges Ricky Steamboat in the audience. He issues an open challenge for next week and Dustin Rhodes wastes no time accepting. Rhodes comes to the ring and tells him this is a dream of his. If he accepts the challenge, he will get the best ‘Natural’ Dustin Rhodes of his life. Claudio says he still sees the same fire in him that he always has. So long as he brings his “A” game, he’s on for next week. Dustin gives him his word and they shake hands.

Powerhouse Hobbs is upset with QT Marshall and The Factory for what happened last week. QT gives him his word that they will handle Ricky Starks.
Zack Clayton says he is a superstar and certainly so in this state. It’s a shame he has to win the FTW title tonight in this cesspool. Just like he said last week, tonight he will win the FTW title and bring it back to New Jersey, a state people respect.

#3. Buddy Matthews (w/ Julia Hart) vs. Serpentico — Winner: Buddy Matthews
Miro appears with Malakai Black’s mask. Buddy goes after him but Miro brings the pain while Julia Black looks on helplessly. Miro finishes things by kicking Buddy’s head clean off his shoulders.
Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter try to make sense of the partnership of Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm, but it doesn’t. They are going to sit back and watch this implode.
#4. Penelope Ford* vs. Athena — Winner: Athena
*For the first time ever during this match, the commentary team acknowledged the man in the cardboard box as Kip Sabian.
Kiera Hogan & Leila Grey attack Athena afterward. The Queen Jade Cargill has a sledgehammer and uses it to destroy Athena’s wings while she watches. She comes to the ring and drives the sledgehammer into Athena’s gut.
