Here are the results for the episode of AEW Rampage airing on September 16, 2022. If you missed it, here are the results from this week’s Dynamite: 9/14

AEW Rampage Results (9/16/2022)

#1. Matt Hardy vs. Darby Allin — Winner: Darby Allin

After Allin leaves, Brody King shows up with Julia Hart and hits Matt Hardy with a Lariat. He calls out Sting & Darby and challenges them to a match next week with the House of Black. King chokes out Hardy hangman style to send a message.

Eddie Kingston vs. Sammy Guevara is set for Grand Slam! Kingston says he is going to destroy him.

Claudio Castagnoli is in the ring with Tony Schiavone and Wheeler Yuta. He says this championship represents honor. The Blackpool Combat Club is the new symbol of excellence. They are a team, a family, and they make each other better. Wheeler lost his title last week, but that’s fine, you learn more when you lose and he’ll get it back. Last Friday he fought Dax Harwood, and next week we will get Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship.

He’s not too surprised that two Blackpool Combat Club members are in the final. Next week, the BCC will have two world champions in its ranks. Chris Jericho stands up to interrupt him. He asks if he forgot about the Jericho Appreciation Society. Jericho has been watching him, and he should be competing for the title at Grand Slam. Claudio and the fans remind him that he tapped out.

Nevermind about that, Jericho is a 7-time World Champion, but guess what? Not only is he the best wrestler and sports entertainer, but the one place he has never been champion is Ring of Honor, and this is why he is challenging him this Wednesday at Arthur Ashe. Castagnoli was hoping this would happen, he’s been waiting for a long time for this. But no this, he’s going to beat the hell out of him.

Backstage, Jade Cargill says they have the greatest women’s locker room in the world, but she’s going to step on anyone who gets in her way. She also confirms that Stokely Hathaway is no longer employed. Diamante steps up and challenges Cargill to a match next week.

#2. Penelope Ford (w/ Kip Sabian) vs. Willow Nightingale — Winner: Penelope Ford via submission

Andrade El Idolo is still trying to recruit #10 of the Dark Order, but they don’t care and no one likes him anyway.

#3. Ethan Page (w/ The Firm) vs. Danhausen — Winner: Ethan Page

#4. [ROH Television Championship] Samoa Joe (c) vs. Josh Woods (w/ Tony Nese & Smart Mark Sterling) — Winner: Samoa Joe retains

Tony Nese & Josh Woods attack Joe after the match. Wardlow shows up to set things right, so Sterling and his guys get out of there. Wardlow and Joe have a brief staredown before clinking titles out of respect. And that’s all folks.
