All Japan Pro-Wrestling: Champion Carnival 2014 Day 7 results

All Japan’s 34th annual Champions Carnival reumed earlier today at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The was said to be 1,096 in attendance. As reported yesterday on the site The reigning Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion Akebono is unable to compete for the rest of the tournament.


(1) Atsushi Aoki, SUSHI & Menso~re Oyaji defeated Kaji Tomato, Tank Nagai & Naoya Nomura (3:14) Aoki submitted Nomura with a Texas Cloverleaf.

(2) Dream Team Futures (Keisuke Ishii, Shigehiro Irie, Soma Takao) defeated Kenichiro Arai, Takeshi Minamino & Bear Fukuda (7:08) Irie with the Flying Sausage on Minamino.


(3) Masanobu Fuchi’s Debut 40th Anniversary In Tokyo: Masanobu Fuchi & Burning (Jun Akiyama & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) defeated Ultimo Dragon, Osamu Nishimura & Masao Inoue (12:46) following multiple Dropkicks to Inoue.


-Ultimo and Fuchi shook hands after the match.

(4) Takao Omori defeated Mitsuya Nagai (7:40) with the Axe Bomber.

(5) Joe Doering & Hikaru Sato defeated Kento Miyahara & Kotaro Suzuki (9:49) Doering hits Suzuki with the Revolution Bomb for the victory.


(6) Champion Carnival B Block Match: KENSO defeated Yutaka Yoshie (11:23) with the DK Lock.


– KENSO brought out Kengo Mashimo, Mitsuya Nagi, Kenichiro Arai, Takeshi Minamoto, & Bear Fukada. All men were sporting Dark Kingdom shirts. Mashimo stated that he needs no introduction, and he aims to start competing in All Japan. The group now consists of KENSO, Mitsuya Nagai, Takeshi Minamino, Kenichiro Arai, Bear Fukuda, and Kengo Mashimo. KENSO declared that this is the “Real Beginning” of the Dark Kingdom.


(7) Champion Carnival A Block Match: Kendo Kashin defeated Suwama (9:44) Kashin’s boot came off during an ankle hold performed by Suwama and used it to his advantage to get the roll-up. Similar to Eddie Guerrero’s WrestleMania 20 victory over Kurt Angle. 

Kazuyuki Fujita was at ringside in Kashin’s corner and. More questions surrounding Kendo Kashin that he could very well be an “Assassin from IGF” (Inoki Gnome Federation), Another interesting note about this is that Hideki Suzuki from IGF was also in attendance. After the match, Suwama demanded a rematch against Kashin.

(8) Champion Carnival B Block Match: Go Shiozaki defeated Zeus (21:17) following the Gowan Lariat.


-Zeus got a strong reaction from the fans for being able to showcase himself well against Shiozaki. Shiozaki went to shake Zeus’ hand, but Zeus refused as he threw his fist up at Shiozaki.
