AEW Dynamite Beach Break Results (5/14/2025)

#1. Will Ospreay & Hangman Adam Page vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Josh Alexander – Winners: Ospreay & Page

Will Ospreay accidentally hits Page, assuming it is Josh Alexander trying to blindside him. Referees quickly get between Ospreay and Page to stop a fight.

Top Flight sends a loud warning to MJF and the Hurt Syndicate. Dustin Rhodes appreciates their fire and tells them he and Sammy Guevara will be watching.

#2. Ricochet vs. Zach Gowen – Winner: Ricochet

Ricochet continues beating up Gowen until Mark Briscoe arrives, and then he wants no part.

MJF tells us that when the Hurt Syndicate says yes to him, there will be no stopping them. Renee Paquette asks what he will do if they say no, and this worries him. MVP puts his hands around MJF and tells him it is imperative he joins them after the next match.

#3. Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin (w/ MVP) vs. Top Flight – Winners: Hurt Syndicate via submission

Lashley doesn’t get of the submission, so Dustin Rhodes (w/ Sammy Guevara) enters to tell him to stop. It doesn’t make him look cool, it makes him look like an asshole. MVP asks what they want. Rhodes points to their ROH Tag Titles and asks MVP what he thinks they want.

Lio Rush and Action Andretti interrupt this. Rush asks Lashley for a favor, seeing as they have history. Dustin Rhodes calls Lio a little son of a bitch for trying to cut in line. MVP suggests they fight it out on Collision, and the winner gets a title opportunity at Double Or Nothing.

MJF doesn’t come out to join them, so Shelton Benjamin goes looking. He finds MJF after Tony Khan points behind him, and escorts him to the ring. We get the final decision from the Hurt Syndicate. MVP and Benjamin give a thumbs up. Lashley puts his arm around MJF before giving his answer… which is… Yes! MJF is so happy that he hugs Lashley, who quickly shoves him off. He gets the fans chanting “we hurt people”. MVP announces an official contract signing for MJF next week.

#4. [AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator] “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Mina Shirakawa vs. Skye Blue vs. AZM – Winners: Mina Shirakawa

As AZM headed to the back, she is blindsided by Mercedes Mone, who puts her in a crossface. Jamie Hayter makes the save and puts Mone in a crossface. Before she can do more damage, officials step in to break it up.

AEW pays tribute to Sabu. It is worth nothing that an emotional Taz spoke about how much Sabu meant to his career, and how he was “aura before aura was cool”. He was loved by everyone backstage, and he is going to miss his brother. He and the rest of the commentary team pointed to the sky, along with the fans. An amazing tribute by one of Sabu’s biggest rivals.

Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone are in the ring. After the events of last Thursday’s Collision, McGuinness apologizes for getting involved in the feud between FTR and Daniel Garcia. Speaking of which, Garcia joins them in the ring. Again, he apologizes for getting involved, as he will be keeping himself to himself.

Garcia tells Nigel not to apologize, as he had every right to stand up for hisself after FTR attacked him. If he is going to quit on him, he can go back to commentary and Garcia will take them on by himself, but it would be an honor if he did join in the fight. Stokely Hathaway walks in to speak on FTR’s behalf.

After speaking to them, they have decided Nigel’s punishment is to have him in a tag match so they cannot be held accountable. Nigel doesn’t think it is a good idea, but Garcia convinces him otherwise. Stokely insults McGuinness about him his hepatitis, and this is enough to distract them long enough for FTR to hit the ring. Luckily for McGuinness and Garcia, Daddy Magic arrives with a crowbar to even things up.

#5. [Steel Cage Match for the AEW World Championship] Jon Moxley (c) vs. Samoa Joe – Winner: Jon Moxley retains with an assist from Gabe Kidd

The Young Bucks join them. Kenny Omega arrives! He takes out some minions, but is then blindsided by Kazuchika Okada. Young Bucks, Gabe Kidd and the Death Riders lower the steel cage so they have the numbers game on Samoa Joe and Kenny Omega.

After beating them up for a few minutes, Swerve Strickland shows up, climbs the cage, and takes most of them out with one dive. Matt Jackson quickly raises the cage and they all escape. Strickland grabs a mic to say he is the fear and most dangerous man in AEW. With everyone else in the ring, he calls for a little “anarchy”. He challenges the heels to “Anarchy In the Arena” at Double Or Nothing.
