AEW Dynamite Results (11/13/2024)
#1. Jay White & Juice Robinson vs. Hangman Page & Christian Cage – Winners: Page & Cage with an assist from The Patriarchy
Mercedes Mone is shocked that she is being accused of running over Kris Statlander. It isn’t her fault that Kamille can’t drive. She has been stressing her out. Mone demands that Kamille puts her coat in her locker room. While she does that, Statlander appears behind her. They get in to a fight, which ends by Statlander smashing the pair of them through a wall.
Will Ospreay would like to hear from Kyle Fletcher, and he answers the call. After Kyle sends him a warning, Ospreay tells him he knows how this goes down in the Don Callis Family. If he has any weapons in his back pocket, he might as well throw them away, as he’s just here to talk. Fletcher passes him the screwdriver, and Ospreay throws it down.
Will talks about how he took him in during the pandemic, and they were so close that he even came to pick up his kid from school with him. Fletcher respects what he did, but everything Ospreay did was for him. He is selfish and a hypocrite. Fletcher did exactly what Ospreay did in his position. He would have done the same thing. Ospreay pokes a big hole in his logic. Is he a Will Ospreay clone or not? One week he is saying he is nothing like him, and now he is saying this. And what has he achieved? He has done sod all, lad.
Fletcher is thinking more about what he is going to do. He is going to surpass him in every way, and he will begin at Full Gear. Fletcher vs. Ospreay. Will sees what he wants. Kyle wants his five minutes of fame. If he wants the match, then challenge accepted. However, he should know that he has lost feeling his hand after the Tiger Driver, and he couldn’t feel his kid holding it as he watched him shave his head, so he wants revenge for that.
Fletcher tells him that is only the start. He is coming for everything. Lance Archer & Brian Cage join Fletcher’s side, so Ospreay invites two friends of his own in Mark Davis and Powerhouse Hobbs. Five of them fight it out to the backstage area, as Lance Archer ends up starting his impromptu match with Roderick Strong.
#2. [Falls Count Anywhere] Roderick Strong vs. Lance Archer – Winner: Roderick Strong
Roderick Strong tells MJF he is coming for him at Full Gear. Konosuke Takeshita blindsides him! Adam Cole appears to save his friend, and much like the previous match, we are quickly shifted in to a match between them.
#3. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Adam Cole – Winner: Konosuke Takeshita
Takeshita used the Dynamite Diamond Ring to knock out Cole without the referee seeing. This means Cole will not face MJF at Full Gear, but Roderick Strong will. MJF is seen laughing at Cole from his home. Roderick Strong comes to help his friend, so Takeshita takes off, but he ends up fighting with Ricochet. Kyle O’Reilly is in the ring for some reason, and does not accept Adam Cole’s handshake.
We get a backstage segment where Bobby Lashley promises Swerve Strickland that he will hurt him.
JD Drake is struggling to stand as he crawls his way down the entrance way. He has been hit repeatedly with a steel chair by the Deathriders. Moxley tells a cameraman to get in the ring. He talks to Orange Cassidy through the camera. This is a big opportunity for him at Full Gear, but he will make an example out of him. Moxley will brutalize Orange Cassidy. He will mutilate him so bad even his Mother won’t recognize him. Everyone who wants to call themselves a contender will see that, and they will run and hide. They have the AEW World Championship and all the power.
Orange Cassidy appears with his friends Mark Briscoe and Rocky Romero. He tells Moxley that he believes everything he is saying. He holds the AEW World Championship and all the power. They could fight anywhere, but the only way he can become champion is by wrestling. And for a guy who doesn’t like to wrestle, he does it more than anyone. He beat Moxley once, and he will do it again. When he talked about pawns and playing chess, Cassidy says he has one pawn to get rid of, and that is Wheeler Yuta. He will take away the pawn that lets him take the king. Moxley says it doesn’t matter what happens with Yuta, he will tell everyone to “abandon all hope”.
Just as the Death Riders look to leave, while wearing a mask, Darby Allin leaps from above on to them. The Deathriders get out of there to their truck, but Allin jumps in to the back. Castagnoli gets out and uses his big swing to throw Allin to some shutters, before getting back in the truck to drive away. But Darby gets up and yells at them that he’s still standing!
In a backstage interview, Chris Jericho accepts Tomohiro Ishii’s challenge for the ROH World Championship. He will teach him a Learning Tree lesson he will never forget.
#4. Britt Baker vs. Penelope Ford – Winner: Britt Baker via submission
Mina Shirakawa is happy to see Mariah May defend her title on Collision, and then they can celebrate with champagne. Harley Cameron interrupts this to challenge her to a match, where they will go tit for tit. Mina starts shaking her chest at her, so Harley does the same, and they both get so shaky that Renee Paquette has to step in to stop the madness.
#5. Swerve Strickland (w/ Prince Nana) vs. Lio Rush – Winner: Swerve Strickland
Swerve Strickland can’t help but notice that since he returned, it seems some are looking to make a name off of his name. Perhaps he needs to remind everyone who he is. Strickland tells Lashley to bring his ass out right now. MVP and Lashley appear with a microphone.
MVP tells him if he wanted a match, all he had to do was ask. They are going to have to teach him a lesson, though. One of those is strength in numbers. Shelton Benjamin blindsides him, and this gives Lashley the time to work over Strickland ahead of their match at Full Gear. Meanwhile, MVP holds back Nana with his cane. Lashley locks in the Full Nelson submission and makes Strickland pass out.
Jamie Hayter says there is no secret. She is here to right the wrongs. She is coming after one thing. Before she can say what that is, we quickly pan to a Julia Hart vignette where she wakes up from a dream. She gets a call from someone telling her to come home. Julia gets up and looks in the mirror, before heading back in to the bedroom, where she opens the closet and is handed items, including her trademark hat, from when she turned dark with the House Of Black.
