AEW Dynamite Results (7/2/2025)

Hangman Page opens the show. He has already said enough about this upcoming match and how much this company means to him. Page promised he would win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at All In and free it from its prison. You can wrap a chain around his neck and hang him from the sky, but you would have to kill him to stop him from seizing this opportunity. If anyone thinks he will let the Death Riders or Young Bucks will cost him, you’re a dumbass. He will welcome all The Elite and the Death Riders. Make this a Texas Deathmatch! Jon Moxley enters.

He refuses the challenge. At All In, Page will lose because he doesn’t want to win. He won the Owen Hart Cup tournament as it wasn’t the top of the mountain. Moxley lives in pressure. Some people call themselves the “Best In The World”. That’s just bitch s***. He is way above that, and he will show everyone what a real World Champion looks like. Page doesn’t have it in him to go where he needs to go in a Texas Deathmatch. Page delivers a cheap shot and a fight breaks out.

The Death Riders uses its numbers game to isolate Page. Moxley leaves while Castagnoli and Yuta put down their leader’s challenger. After they walk away, Page gets a mic and yells at them that he’s still standing. Castagnoli makes his way back to ringside, but is cut off by Samoa Joe. Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata join him soon after. Marina Shafir tries to hit Page in the back of the head with the briefcase, but he wrestles it out of her hands. Again, he demands the Texas Deathmatch, and Moxley agrees this time.

Before this ends, Page wants to remind Moxley that he is willing to do anything and everything to do what it takes. He hits Marina Shafir with the Buckshot Lariat.

#1. [TBS Championship] Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa – Winner: Mercedes Mone retains

Toni Storm gets in the ring to check on Mina Shirakawa. Mone returns and hits Storm in the back of the head with the TBS Championship. She licks her cake and throws champagne (or wine?) at Luther.

Young Bucks jump in a “Founding Fathers” limo and relive old memories in their hometown.

#2. [#2 Spot in the Casino Battle Royal] Brody King vs. MJF vs. Anthony Bowens vs. AR Fox – Winner: MJF via submission on Fox

Mark Briscoe wants a little “talky talk” with MJF next week, but only if he has the balls next to his tiny pickle.

JetSpeed shows up to have a fight with the Hurt Syndicate, which isn’t wise as they still taped up from last week. They refuse to let it go and each take a powerbomb for their bravery. After repeated beatings, JetSpeed still manage to get up to tell the Hurt Syndicate they will have to kill ’em to keep them down.

#3. Bandido, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly vs, Konosuke Takeshita & The Young Bucks – Winners: Takeshita & Bucks

Ospreay and Strickland attacks The Young Bucks after the match, but they escape. They offer the challenge for All In again, but Young Bucks aren’t interested unless they get something out of it. Ospreay suggests that if they win, he and Strickland can’t challenge for the World Championship for a year. Strickland initially doesn’t like the sound of that, but he eventually agrees to it.

#4. Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland vs. Dralistico & The Beast Mortos – Winners: Ospreay & Strickland

#5. Kota Ibushi vs. Kazuchika Okada – Winner: Kazuchika Okada

Okada and the Don Callis Family beat up Ibushi until a returning Kenny Omega saves the day.
