AEW Dynamite Results (9/4/2024)
Daniel Garcia opens the show by challenging MJF to show up for a fight. MJF does show up, but far away in the crowd. He doesn’t want to do anything now, as it will ruin their match this weekend. After a bunch of insults, Garcia says nobody believes anything he says. Everything about him is fake, including his love for AEW. He can get as many fake tattoos as he wants, but they will never believe him.
Garcia wants him to suffer. If he ever finds a woman who can care for him longer than a year, he wants to marry her. But just know if he ever has a kid, he will look at that kid and think about him. His kid is going to ask if he was a wrestler, and he will say he was until Daniel Garcia ended his career. MJF applauds him. He learned how to speak. MJF says he still has a lot to learn.
These people used to love him. But when he got too big, just like rats, they turned on him. Garcia doesn’t want to win championship gold. The higher he gets in this sport, the quicker they will turn on him. MJF will make sure they won’t turn on Garcia like they did to him. He will do that by putting him in a wheelchair. There is one person on this planet he can trust, and that is his mother. She will take care of him. In fact, he won’t be the first man who laid in her bed that she attended to.
This provokes Garcia enough to go after MJF, but the security gets in his way. He finds a way past the security team to reach MJF, but he gets cracked in the head by a bottle! MJF says each man must go through hell first to reach paradise. He woke up something in him, and at All Out, he will send him straight to paradise.

We are due for a contract signing for the steel cage match between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page. After two times of not showing up, Page appears on the titantron. Earlier in the show, Strickland had bought his childhood home, and Page is there now. He wonders what life was like there. His dad can’t have loved him very much.
When Swerve sat outside of his house, he gave him his choice. But it isn’t much of a choice to him. He is going to burn his world to the ground. At All Out, he will be begging for his mercy. He will say goodbye to the title, his career, his health, and his happiness. He gets to say goodbye to Swerve’s house. Page sets his house on fire as a distraught Strickland looks on.
