AEW Fyter Fest Results (6/4/2025)

The show begins with Will Ospreay getting a word with Tony Schiavone in the ring. He feels embarrassed to be getting in to a fight with Swerve Strickland. He may have been stupid to get him and Hangman Page together, but the point is to get the title off of Jon Moxley. AEW has so much momentum right now, and yet, the only thing that sucks is Moxley being the World Champion.

He is beginning to wonder if Swerve Strickland is a threat, much like the Death Riders. He cannot allow Strickland to get in the way, so if he has to be the one to stop him. Ospreay would take a bullet for Strickland, but he’d take one for the AEW fans first, so he is calling him out to a fight.

Lio Rush and Action Andretti interrupt him. They just got off a 14-hour flight from Japan, so Andretti is up for anything, but Lio has a lot of pent up anger. Ospreay is willing to help him with that. How about we have an Ospreay match tonight? Just let him get his crime fighting pants, and he’ll see Lio in the ring later.

#1. Jon Moxley vs. Mark Briscoe – Winner: Jon Moxley via technical submission

Mercedes Mone makes her way to the announce table for the next match.

#2. “Timeless” Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa vs. Skye Blue & Julia Hart – Winners: Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa via submission

Mercedes Mone was drinking and picking away at a steak dinner during the match. After getting the win, Toni Storm grabbed the steak and did not hold back.

MJF tries getting in Will Ospreay’s head, but he’s having none of it. MJF brings up his kid, so Ospreay grabs him by the scruff of the neck. He lets go when the Hurt Syndicate surrounds him. MVP calls him lucky, as they have business elsewhere tonight. Still, he wishes Will the best of luck in his match.

The Hurt Syndicate makes its way to the ring. MVP almost begs for some tags teams to step up and challenge the greatest tag team of all time. There is no one capable of beating them for the titles. MJF speaks next. He wants gold, like his friends Bob and Shelton. This means he needs to wrestle a little more.

Apparently, the countrymen of Mexico believe their top guy is Mistico. He isn’t the best wrestler in the world, because he is. The last time MJF was in Mexico, he sold out their main arena as the youngest foreigner. MJF believes Mistico is a big fish in a small, stinky pond. He will watch his match next week, and if he thinks he is worthy, they might face off at the Grand Slam in Mexico.

The trio of Komander, Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey interrupts them. Komander insults MJF in Spanish. Kevin Knight suggests they have a trios match tonight with the Hurt Syndicate. MVP tells them if they want a match, how about they prove themselves first by earning it?

#3. La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico & The Beast Mortos) vs. Komander, Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey – Winners: Komander, Knight & Bailey

MVP congratulates them on the win. They won the prize of facing the Hurt Syndicate in a trios match next week. They also get the prize of getting their asses whipped right now. The Hurt Syndicate fails to execute the beatdown, and is instead embarrassed when the babyfaces fight back.

Christian Cage and The Patriarchy have words for Denver. The thin air makes them not very bright, but at the very least, they can figure out to shut up while he conducts business. Nick Wayne has wrestled 14 times in 22 days, and for some, that may be deserving of a night off. But he isn’t anyone, so Nick will defend his ROH TV title tonight. And not in any old match, no. He will defend it in a 4-way.

In the ring, Max Caster tells the referee to sign the petition that states he is the “Best Wrestler Alive”. He gets fans to do the chant… “Let’s go Max, you’re the best wrestler alive”, over and over. Caster admits that was pretty lame. He puts 5 minutes on the clock as his Open Challenge returns. And here comes Powerhouse Hobbs to answer the challenge.

#4. [Open Challenge] Max Caster vs. Powerhouse Hobbs – Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs in 47 seconds

#5. [AEW International Championship] Kenny Omega (c) vs. Mascara Dorada vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brody King – Winner: Kenny Omega retains

The Dynamite portion of the show ends as Collision begins. Kazuchika Okada joins Kenny Omega in the ring. They shove their titles in each other’s faces, and it quickly becomes a fight. After almost hitting their finishes on one another, Okada thinks better of it and retreats.

#6. Will Ospreay vs. Lio Rush (w/ Action Andretti) – Winner: Will Ospreay

Action Andretti blindsides Ospreay, who is then double teamed by Cru. Hangman Adam Page appears to scare them off, and they are smart enough to back away. Page helps Ospreay off the mat. He grabs a microphone to let us know if Ospreay has his back, he will have his.

However, he needs to make one thing clear. He is his own man, and he doesn’t need help to win the title, nor does he need it from one of the worst men on this planet. Page promises he will never need or accept help from Swerve Strickland. But he will ride in to Texas, defeat Jon Moxley, take the briefcase, take out the title and hold it high for everyone. All In: Texas will be his night.

Jon Moxley appears behind Page. The rest of the Death Riders show up as well. Will Ospreay, who had disappeared while Page was cutting his promo, returns with some steel chairs. The Death Riders decide this isn’t the time to attack.

– The Don Callis Family challenges Bandido and The Outrunners to a match. Don Callis brings in the greatest luchador in the world, Hechicero, to deal with Bandido.

#7. FTR vs. Atlantis Jr. & Templario – Winners: FTR

#8. Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher & Hechicero (w/ Don Callis) vs. Los Outrunners & Bandido – Winners: Takeshita, Fletcher & Hechicero

Megan Bayne grabs Anna Jay and drags her out to the entrance ramp. Penelope Ford suggests throwing her off the stage, but before she can, Tay Melo returns to AEW and makes the save! Security rushes out to calm things down before the next match.

Anthony Bowens challenges Kyle Fletcher to a match on the special 4-hour show next week.

Ricochet joins the commentary team for the next match to scout talent with the potential to watch his back in the future.

#9. [ROH World Television Championship] Nick Wayne (c) (w/ The Patriarchy) vs. AR Fox vs. Lee Johnson vs. Sammy Guevara – Winner: Nick Wayne retains

#10. Thekla vs. Lady Frost – Winner: Thekla via submission

Thekla goes back to the submission on Lady Frost, until Queen Aminata appears. She still seems happy with her days work. After the break, Queen Aminata challenges Thekla to a match for next week.

We get a breaking announcement. Kazuchika Okada will take on Kenny Omega in a “Winner Takes All” match for the AEW Continental and International Championships at All In: Texas.

#11. Lance Archer, Josh Alexander & RPG Vice (w/ Don Callis) vs. Daniel Garcia, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong (w/ Daddy Magic) – Winners: Garcia & Paragon
