Here are the results for this weeks episode of Impact Wrestling airing 4/26/2019. Check out the link for last weeks results: April 19th

– Eli Drake kicks us off, and he has Kenny the kendo stick. He says the old Eddie Edwards is dead. Now, he’s a flappy, placid version of his self. Eddie was the weak link. He talks to a stick. Eli tries getting a word with Kenny, but the stick does not respond. Eddie storms out and jumps Eli. He gets Kenny, and Eli has “Mic-y”. Edwards wins the exchange and wipes Eli out. They continue the fight backstage, all the way out of the building.

– Hype video for Tessa Blanchard vs. Gail Kim. Tonight, Rich Swann is going to the oVe compound, The Deaners debut, and Rosemary’s in action.

#1.  Ace Austin vs. Aiden Prince – Winner: Ace Austin with The Fold

After the match, Austin beat down Prince, prompting Petey Williams to make the save. Looks like a future rivalry between the two.

– Jordynne Grace is working out. Taya Valkyrie shows up and tries choking her with the weight. Grace fights back and lifts the champion up with a choke, but Taya gets out of it. Taya DDTs Jordynne on to one of the weights, knocking her out in the process.

– Rob Van Dam is looking forward to wrestling some of the talent. He especially likes Willie Mack doing the frog splash. The X-Division guys are big RVD marks, apparently.

– The Rascalz are backstage, and not in a smoky segment for a change. They accidentally walk in to each other. Each of them got an anonymous note to meet in the same spot. Wentz takes a long time finding his note. Moose pops in and admits he was the one who sent the notes. He got tired of being in the smoky bubble thing, so he invited them here. Moose tells them he has friends, so The Rascalz joke about the woman who turned him down a few weeks ago. The North blindside them, so it seems Moose is teaming up with them. Not that he needed any help.

GWN Moment Of The Week: AJ Styles (c) vs. Rob Van Dam for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship (Impact! April 19th 2010)

Scarlett Bordeaux is looking to prove her critics wrong at Rebellion with a live Smoke Show.

#2. Undead Maid Of Honor (w/ Su Yung & Undead Bridesmaids) vs. Rosemary – Winner: Rosemary with the Green Mist & Spear

– Rich Swann shows up at the oVe compound and asks for Sami Callihan. The Crist Brothers ain’t telling him. Rich knocks on the door of a room he assumes Sami is in, yelling at him to open up. He’s pissed off, Swann remembers everything they did together. Swann pours his heart out before reminding Sami he will see him Sunday. After he walks away. Callihan emerges from the door having heard everything.

– Johnny Impact meets up with The Lucha Brothers before their 6-man tag tonight. In Spanish, both Pentagon and Fenix cut promos on how they don’t need him. But Johnny stands there with a big smile on his face, not understanding a word. He tells them they should bring the same intensity to the ring tonight.

#3. Killer Kross vs. Willie Mack – Winner: Killer Kross with the Kross Jacket submission

– A great vignette highlighting the history of LAX vs. The Lucha Brothers. Full Metal Mayhem this Sunday.

#4. The Deaners vs. Halal Beefcake & Idris Abraham – Winners: The Deaners

– In the ring, Johnny Impact gets on the mic before the main event. He wants to talk about the special guest referee situation. The fact is, Lance Storm helped to train him in the OVW days. Taya says she was trained in the Storm Academy, and they even invited him to their wedding. Lance Storm makes his entrance, and hugs them both. Storm thinks it’s great to be back, but there’s a misunderstanding.

There’s an important lesson they need to remember. No matter what they do in this industry, be an asset to it. Don’t be one of the reasons others don’t. Johnny questions Storm’s integrity. “If I can be a serious for a minute .. my integrity has never been for sale”. Storm has one job at Rebellion, to make sure Impact has a World Champion at Rebellion. One that the fans can look up to and respect. Taya slaps him, and Storm superkicks Johnny in the face. He’s calling it right down the middle at Rebellion.

#5. Johnny Impact, Pentagon Jr & Fenix (w/ Taya Valkyrie & Johnny Bravo) vs. Brian Cage, Santana & Ortiz (w/ Konnan) – Winners: Brian Cage & LAX with Cage’s Weapon X on the champion

Pentagon Jr. split the back of Brian Cage’s neck open with a really stiff, unprotected chair shot. Despite the cut, Cage carried on and finished the champion with Weapon X. LAX & The Lucha Brothers brought Full Metal Mayhem out before this Sunday’s encounter. Cage closed the show by smearing blood across his chest in victory.
