Impact Wrestling Results – May 10th, 2019

Here are the results for this weeks episode of Impact Wrestling airing 5/10/2019. Check out the link for last weeks results: May 3rd

#1. Moose & Josh Alexander vs. LAX (w/ Konnan) – Winners: LAX

– Madison Rayne interview. She’s facing Taya Valkyrie tonight in a non-title match. Madison says Taya is not a fighting champion, and the thirty days will be over before she knows it.

– Tommy Dreamer says he and the team are going to war. Tonight will change their lives. They did so much to get here, as he reels off all the degrading things his partners had to do to get here. He blasts his old critics, who told him the ECW style would confine him to a wheelchair. Dreamer calls their opposition trolls, and keyboard warriors.

He talks about Brian Cage and Impact management doing everything to get him to the hospital. Impact is the kind of company he wants to work for. He loves how diverse the roster is, and how they fight for what they love .. wrestling. Tommy doesn’t know how many fights he’s got left in him, but he knows his near thirty year fight is worth it, because he gets to share it with the young talent.

– Tessa Blanchard makes her way to ringside to provide commentary for the next match. She’s happier than usual.

#2. Taya Valkyrie vs. Madison Rayne – Winner: Madison Rayne made Taya tap out very quickly to a single leg Boston Crab

GWN Moment Of The Week: Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss in Monster’s Ball  at Bound for Glory 2010

– Rob Van Dam gets mixed up between Ethan Page and Diamond Dallas Page. Other than that, he’s looking forward to tonight’s match.

– Rosemary wants to take something; Father’s favorite pet Su. She wants a “Demon Caller” match with Su Yung, with the winner taking all (bridesmaids).

#3. Jordynne Grace vs. Alexia Nicole – Winner: Jordynne Grace

– Ethan Page and Josh Alexander backstage. Josh says they should stick together, wanting to be in his corner. Ethan asks if he wants to be at ringside when he destroys Rob Van Dam. After his win, they will continue taking over the tag team division.

– Kiera Hogan comments on walking away from Rosemary last week. She says Rosemary wanted it that way. Kiera’s tried to be friends with others, but it hasn’t got her anywhere. Jordynne chimes in and wonders what’s wrong with her. Kiera’s unhappy she hasn’t being talking to her, and gets angry when Grace claims they are friends. Hogane doesn’t need friends anymore.

#4. Rob Van Dam vs. Ethan Page – Winner: Rob Van Dam with the 5-star Frog Splash

– Brian Cage is talking from home. He says winning the title was bittersweet, as he’s had to have injuries re-examined. The champ will focus on rehab and see how it goes.

– Michael Elgin says the first person on his list was Brian Cage, and his second is Pentagon Jr. Johnny Impact doesn’t like it .. and again, they repeat the comments from last week about who put the champion in the hospital. Johnny points out Elgin not sending Willie Mack there after Code Red, provoking Big Mike to threaten the former champ with the same fate.

#5. Desi Hit Squad (w/ Gama Singh) vs. The Deaners vs. Brent Banks & Aiden Prince vs. The Rascalz (Dez & Wentz) – Winners: Rohit Raju rolled up a Deaner to pick up the win for the Desi Hit Squad

– Killer Kross  has “Kenneth” the kendo stick. It’s not real. Eddie has an unhealthy relationship with this stick .. he’s crazy. But he does agree they are both insane, which he finds offensive. There’s a fine line between being sane, or a genius. The question is .. which one of them has stepped across that line? He aggressively demands an answer .. tick tock.

– Rascalz segment, except it’s only Trey with LAX to begin with. He likes the Impact titles, and congratulates them on their win from earlier. Dez & Wentz sit down and ask where Trey was at. He went to get a lion to protect the stash. Ortiz suddenly convinces himself he is a lion, and reels off a long list of celebrities and tag teams he wants to take out; including The Rascalz. He’s having a great time drinking all the Tequila. Ortiz passes the drink around, but they either choose not to drink .. or spit it out. He thought they were men.

#5. Tommy Dreamer, Willie Mack, Rich Swann, Fallah Bahh (w/ Scarlett Bordeaux) vs. Sami Callihan, Madman Fulton, Jake Crist & Dave Crist in a oVe rules match – Winners: Sami Callihan (oVe) with the Cactus Special Piledriver on Willie Mack in to the legos

To recap, here’s a list of points we can take away from this episode:

  • Brian Cage’s situation is still up in the air, so the main event scene is left in limbo.
  • Despite Rosemary turning heel on Kiera Hogan, she’s reverted back to a face in her new feud with Su Yung.
  • Kiera Hogan is turning heel due to frustration with others looking out for themselves.
  • Killer Kross’ interest has peaked by the unhinged character of Eddie Edwards.
  • Mirroring their previous feud, it looks set we’ll see Tessa Blanchard vs. heel Taya Valkyrie for the title at the next PPV.
  • LAX vs. Rascalz feud was teased in their chill out session in the treehouse.
