Impact Wrestling Results (6/10/2021)

Straight in to the summit, Scott D’Amore introduces Tony Khan, CEO of AEW. He thanks Scott and Impact for having him there. Look who showed up to work, it’s Don Callis in the flesh. He’s not here to cause any trouble or stir anything, he’s just here to point out that Kenny Omega is the best thing in Tony’s portfolio. Then we have Moose, who is a hell of an athlete… and Sami Callihan. Kenny’s not afraid of him or anyone else, but let’s face facts. Callihan is on the blacklist of every promotion anywhere for a reason. Does he need to pull up the footage of him almost ending Eddie Edwards’ career with a bat?

Scott D’Amore thinks it’s a double standard though, considering what The Good Brothers have been doing. Don says Sami bust him open a few years ago, he’s a lunatic, we need to call the police because it’s classic Sami. AEW & Impact are both companies based on the best athletes, where wins and losses matter. He thinks they take Moose and Omega and have a match. There’s no need to bring in a drooling sociopath troglodyte like Callihan in to an Olympic standard wrestling contest. D’Amore doesn’t think he’s stupid or illogical, and he raises some great points. He & Tony want to thank Don.

One thing Tony knows is that with Moose, he wants to see a good clean match, and if we’re going to have a big main event, then how about Daily’s Place? With all due respect, the AEW Impact Champion should defend the title there. Sami Callihan won’t be there, because AEW has great security and he won’t get in. Don likes the home field advantage, he feels fantastic! D’Amore has one last thing to say to Callis before he goes. Whoever wins at Against All Odds will go on to face Sami Callihan at Slammiversary for the Impact World title, and Tony has signed off on it. Callis doesn’t like the idea, but it’s a done deal.

Backstage, Kenny Omega has heard the news and wonders who figured this out. Callis suggests to the Good Brothers they take out Sami Callihan before they get to Slammiversary. D’Amore overheard them talking about putting a bounty on Callihan’s head, so he’s pitting them against Callihan and a mystery partner. Oh! And it’s a street fight. Callis thinks this is one big fat joke. Still, he thinks the Good Brothers got this in the bag.

The Most Professional Wrestler presents, “How To Be A Wrestler”.

He asks Sam Beale how to cut a promo. It’s a match, and a match is a promo. He wants Beale to cut a promo about his match against Matt Cardona. He cuts an old school 80s style promo by hyping him up, but Myers doesn’t like that and wants him to bury Cardona instead.

– Backstage, Sami Callihan meets up Scott D’Amore and asks who he is teaming with at the PPV. Tommy Dreamer walks up and addresses the fact that Don Callis is both their enemy. What the hell, why not? Callihan accepts it. Let’s have some fun at Against All Odds. D’Amore tells Tommy that he shouldn’t be calling Don an enemy because he is an EVP in the company, so technically he’s his boss. Dreamer apologizes, but waves a finger in Scott’s face and tells him that Callis is still the enemy. That seems to get under D’Amore’s skin a little bit.

If Havok wins the next match, she will be added to the Knockouts Championship match at Against All Odds.

#1. Havok vs. Rosemary — Winner: Rosemary with the Spear

Deonna Purrazzo, Kimber Lee & Susan attack Rosemary and Havok after the bell. Susan has a microphone while Purrazzo and Lee have them in a submission. She wants the match between Kimber Lee and Tasha Steelz right now?! Wait, what?

#2. Kimber Lee (w/ Deonna Purrazzo & Susan) vs. Tasha Steelz (w/ Kiera Hogan) — Winner: Tasha Steelz

It all breaks down after the bell, with Rosemary and Havok returning to get revenge for earlier. They lay out Deonna Purrazzo, Kimber Lee, Susan, Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan. They really enjoy the destruction.

– Maclin is here. It is do or die and this is just day in day out continuous torture. His back is against the wall! Either he will meet Mr. Mayhen or you will. Steve Maclin (Cutler) is coming soon to Impact. Intense.

– Josh Alexander wants the very best contender for his X-Division title after winning the Ironman match, so he will be keeping an eye on the #1 contenders match. Ace Austin tells him that the only guy he should be worried about his him, he doesn’t leave things up to chance and makes his own luck.

#3. Trey Miguel & Petey Williams vs. Chris Bey & Rohit Raju — Winners: Trey Miguel & Petey Williams with the Figure Four Leg Lock on Raju

Ace Austin & Madman Fulton attack Miguel and Williams. Josh Alexander tries making the save, but it’s 2-on-1. Chris Bey & Raju join the fray and all hell breaks loose. They go after Madman Fulton and hit an ULTIMATE CANADIAN DESTROYER on him! Holy impact! Josh Alexander loves what he sees, and so do I.

– Willie Mack cuts a promo on his match tonight against W. Morrissey. He asks his friend Rich Swann to promise he won’t get involved, he wants to handle his own business tonight.

– It’s All About Me! Tenille Dashwood lets us know we should follow her on social media. Rachael Ellering is the appointed host this week. She brought Jordynne Grace with her… but there’s only room for her. Kaleb has a gift, it’s a Tenille Dashwood shirt. Ellering asks why she’s here? Well, this is awkward. This is just disrespectful and Rachael has had enough, so let’s settle it in the ring this Saturday. Jordynne thinks it should be her against Tenille instead, she’s going to get it accepted by Scott D’Amore.

– Eric Young says that Against All Odds, the tag team championship will be defended by Rhino and Deaner, and he places a lot of trust in Deaner. Tonight, Joe Doering is ready to take out Eddie Edwards. As for Satoshi Kojima, he is a legend, but this world doesn’t belong to you. It belongs to us.

#4. Joe Doering (w/ Violent By Design) vs. Eddie Edwards — Winner: Eddie Edwards by DQ

Satoshi Kojima is here to even the odds! He and Eddie take out Violent By Design and they hold Joe Doering back. Eric Young tells them to do it on their time.

#5. [No Disqualification] W. Morrissey vs. Willie Mack — Winner: W. Morrissey

Morrissey looks to end Willie, but Rich Swann makes the save with a quick flurry of strikes. Security come down to split them up and Morrissey gets a cheap shot in. He’s happy with that, but he also gets an unexpected cheap shot from Rich Swann’s swing of a steel chair. Against All Odds this Saturday night.
