- New Japan Cup 2022 Semifinal – Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Shingo Takagi via technical submission
- New Japan Cup 2022 Semifinal – Tetsuya Naito defeated Kazuchika Okada
Naito manages to obtain a victory over IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Okada, advancing to another round with a surprise pinfall instead of using his “Destino” finisher. His opponent will be ZSJ and the final takes place tomorrow.
