  • NXT Women’s North American Championship Qualifying Match: Michin defeated Tatum Paxley by pinfall
  • Gallus was approached backstage by Meta-Four (minus Noam Dar) and Lash Legend continued to argue that Trick Williams wasn’t responsible for attacking Dar.
  • “Locker room leader” Arianna Grace tries to convince Lola Vice not to have another NXT Underground match because Shayna Baszler is a true cage fighter and dangerous. Vice says so is she. Grace curses and then holds her tongue in shame.
  • Ridge Holland defeated Riley Osborne by pinfall.
  • The Good Brothers spoke about wanting a tag title shot.
  • Oro Mensah was shown having been attacked backstage.
  • The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) defeated Edris Enofe & Malik Blade by pinfall. Axiom and Nathan Frazer came out after the match to say they’ll see Gallows and Anderson at NXT Battleground.
  • A video package hyped Dante Chen for his win over Lexis King last week. He’s ready for whatever is next and he’s hungry for more. Backstage in the locker room, Chen was hyped up by some others until Lexis King interrupted to say that’s never going to happen again. A challenge for tonight was put out by Chen. King says his 15 minutes of fame are over.
  • Roxanne Perez cut a promo in the ring about how she’s the only person to ever truly appreciate the NXT Women’s Championship. She finds it disrespectful she has to find out who her opponent is for NXT Battleground like this. As the face of the best women’s division in wrestling, she deserves to be treated better. Out comes Ava to announce Perez’s opponent will be Jordynne Grace!!! The TNA Knockouts champion introduces herself to those who might not know her and she’s fully prepared to leave Las Vegas a double champion.
  • Eddy Thorpe talks about fire in a vignette and how he’s been asking for guidance. The vision is strong, his body is healed, and he’s now been reborn.
  • Backstage, Osborne complained that he’s not okay and Holland can’t be trusted. Thea Hail and Andre Chase don’t see it, but Duke Hudson does. Holland comes up to Chase after the rest all walk off and they reiterate their “one day at a time” ongoing mantra.
  • Lola Vice defeated Arianna Grace by pinfall. Vice grabs a microphone to say Shauna has two options at Battleground, tap out or get knocked out. Baszler then comes out and goes on the attack and they get separated by officials.
  • A hype video promoted Carlee Bright. NXT’s ray of sunshine has officially arrived. Izzi Dame is upset in the locker room over Natalya praising these other women. Karmen Petrovic didn’t take kindly to this and started a fight with Dame.
  • Charlie Dempsey thinks No Quarter Catch Crew needs more discipline like The D’Angelo Family.
  • Mensah was getting checked out by medical. Jakara Jackson still suspects Trick, so Lash will ask him.
  • Dante Chen defeated Lexis King by pinfall. King beat down Chen after the match out of anger.
  • A vignette about Josh Briggs explained his career trajectory. Is he a Man of Mayhem in the ring, or his mind? He might not know who he is, but he’s going to find out.
  • Shawn Spears was watching this and considers Briggs another lost soul in need of guidance. He plans to help the youth of NXT.
  • The D’Angelo Family knows No Quarter Catch Crew will keep coming after them, so they need to take care of that problem. They plan to beat them at their own game.
  • NXT Women’s North American Championship Qualifying Match: Kelani Jordan defeated Wren Sinclair by pinfall.
  • Stevie Turner complains to Ava about how Jordynne Grace got an opportunity before her and she wasn’t even invited to the compound to qualify for the ladder match. Grace goes over to her to suggest they have a match next week to prove these things, which seems to intimidate Turner.
  • Wes Lee plans to spoil Gallus’ plan to win the North American title. Oba Femi interrupts the interview to say it doesn’t matter how many opponents he has, as he’s going to retain. Lee’s confidence isn’t shaking, though.
  • Next week, Tony D’Angelo defends the Heritage Cup against Damon Kemp, Jordynne Grace faces Stevie Turner, Thea Hail fights Jazmyn Nyx and they’ll take a look at the NXT Underground match in more detail.
  • Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans defeated Gallus (The Coffey Brothers) by pinfall. Lash Legend then came out and asked if Trick attacked Dar and Mensah. The lights then went out and Williams was jumped from behind by Ethan Page! He takes responsibility for taking out Dar and Mensah, ending the show posing with the NXT Championship.
