- NXT Tag Team Championships: Super Sonic Duo (Axiom & Nathan Frazer) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) ended in a no-contest as The Bloodline attacked both teams.
- Giulia defeated Chelsea Green by pinfall.
- Lexis King was at the barber shop, getting his horrendous beard trimmed, when he was attacked by Oro Mensah.
- Backstage in the women’s locker room, Superstars were warming up with the intent to answer the open challenge for the TNA Knockouts title. Fatal Influence ran their mouths, almost leading to a fight with a few others like Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice.
- NXT Heritage Cup Championship: Charlie Dempsey (c) defeated Je’Von Evans with a 2-1 score with some help from a returning Tavion Heights.
- Vignette: “The Demonic Duo” Rosemary (with Wendy Choo) had a spooky promo talking about Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley.
- Oba Femi defeated Hammerstone by pinfall, much to the dismay of The D’Angelo Family.
- Backstage, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger want another match against The O.C.’s Good Brothers. Also, Duke Hudson is prepared to give Ridge Holland an Andre Chase University sized ass whooping.
- The women’s locker room continued to prepare themselves. Wren Sinclair suggested going for Kelani Jordan’s NXT Women’s North American Championship and that Jordan should have an open challenge, too. Jordan said Sinclair should focus on the woman who does have that going on right now. Jaida Parker then had some words with Lola Vice about looking for Fatal Influence, ending with Jordan suggesting those two team up against their common enemy.
- Ridge Holland defeated Duke Hudson by pinfall. Holland continued to beat down Hudson after the match as Thea Hail begged for him to stop.
- After Vic Joseph and Booker T recapped the tag title situation, Wes Lee interrupted to say he wants to fight Zachary Wentz in a street fight on the CW premiere.
- TNA Knockouts Championship Open Challenge: Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Sol Ruca ended with Rosemary and Wendy Choo attacking Grace for either a no-contest or a disqualification (nothing was announced for the official decision)
- Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley had a backstage segment together. Paxley was playing with her dolls and getting derailed about all the people she’s upset about. Valkyria reminded her they need to be focused on Rosemary and Wendy Choo. Paxley lamented how she thought she and Wendy Choo could be friends because they are both outcasts, but Choo was just using her to get to a title.
- In her office, Ava praised Giulia with some translation help from Funaki. Roxanne Perez interrupted to say she doesn’t care who Giulia is, as she’s not going to come in and take charge of her division.
- Also backstage, Brooks Jensen asked Dion Lennox what he meant by Shawn Spears gaslighting him. Spears immediately came over to interrupt and ask what this was all about. Lennox left, leaving Jensen and Spears to talk. Spears denounced what Lennox said, saying unlike everyone else, he (Spears) is going to let Jensen make his own decisions. Right after, the camera panned to Eddy Thorpe flanked by a few of the girls, which upset Ashante “Thee” Adonis, who “sees right through” Thorpe.
- Last Man Standing Match: Trick Williams defeated Pete Dunne to secure his title shot for October 1st.
- In her office, Ava spoke to Robert Stone and Stevie Turner about how CM Punk is actually going to be on NXT next week, too, as opposed to just the CW premiere in Chicago on October 1st.
