WWE Recap Report: Full TV Show Results & Highlights of the Week

Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.

  • You know how Raw goes. The first 10 minutes was a promo reminding the audience about the Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair match we already knew we were getting.
  • King of the Ring Tournament Semifinals Match: Xavier Woods defeated Jinder Mahal by pinfall to advance to the finals against Finn Balor at Crown Jewel this Thursday.
  • Austin Theory bumped into R-Truth backstage and challenged him to a match. R-Truth accepted, but then said he accepted on behalf of Jeff Hardy, instead. Austin Theory defeated Jeff Hardy by pinfall.
  • Big E and Drew McIntyre defeated Dirty Dawgs by pinfall.
  • The Street Profits had some words with AJ Styles and Omos backstage.
  • Mansoor defeated Cedric Alexander by pinfall.
  • AJ Styles and Omos interrupted the match between RK-Bro and The Street Profits for a disqualification.
  • Queen’s Crown Tournament: Doudrop defeated Shayna Baszler by pinfall to advance to the finals at Crown Jewel against Zelina Vega.
  • Finn Balor defeated Mace by pinfall.
  • Bianca Belair defeated Charlotte Flair by disqualification to lose the match but retain the Raw Women’s Championship as she hit Belair with a steel chair.

  • The show opened with a promo from Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams about how he won the North American Championship last week. He refers to it as the main title from now on. Johnny Gargano interrupted. Since Candice LeRae is home pregnant, Indi Hartwell is married and Austin Theory went to Raw, he’s “lost his way” and now, he’s going to go after Hayes and his title. They took a verbal shot about Indi sliding into their DMs, which prompted Dexter Lumis (who Gargano referred to as his son-in-law) popping up behind them. Lumis and Gargano ran Hayes and Williams off scared.
  • Odyssey Jones defeated Andre Chase by pinfall
  • Imperium defeated The Creed Brothers by pinfall due to a distraction from Ikemen Jiro and Kushida. After the match, MSK attacked Imperium from behind (which the crowd didn’t like, chanting “you suck” at them). MSK then challenged Imperium to a tag team title match for Halloween Havoc.
  • Video Package: Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner had a workout in the woods chopping down trees and such, wrapped up with a campfire and some beer. O’Reilly said “if we can get on the same page, we can cause a lot of damage.” Wagner said “let’s kick some ass” and toasted to it.
  • Vignette: Joe Gacy said the mission is still in tact. He’ll continue to speak for people. He holds his hand out and Harland does the same. Gacy says “follow me, little snowflake.”
  • Cora Jade defeated Elektra Lopez by pinfall.
  • Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker spoke to McKenzie Mitchell about their tag team match. Breakker said he’s seen this before and he knows to watch his back. Ciampa called attention to Breakker saying he’d keep him safe until Halloween Havoc, so he’ll just “follow [his] lead, champ.”
  • Grayson Waller says he should be the host of Halloween Havoc, but LA Knight wants the gig. The winner of their match tonight will be the host.
  • Triple Threat Match: Io Shirai defeated Persia Pirotta and Jacy Jayne by pinfall. Jayne was taken out of the match midway through after a botched suicide dive. Shirai spun the wheel to determine the gimmick for next week’s tag team championship match, which will be a Scareway to Hell ladder match.
  • Backstage, Legado del Fantasma beat down Trey Baxter to get back at Cora Jade for beating Elektra Lopez. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams
  • Vignette: Solo Sikoa arrives next week.
  • In the bathroom (for some reason) Ikemen Jiro said he’s excited to team with his hero, Kushida, and made sure Kushida put on his sunglasses and vest.
  • Tony D’Angelo defeated Ru Feng by pinfall. After the match, Samantha Irvin asked about the producer who went missing that Tony clearly knows something about. He denied it, gave her some money, told her to get herself something nice and to fughettaboudit!
  • Duke Hudson’s Poker Room is always open as he’s always open to beating people. The same goes for in the ring. The house always wins.
  • Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) defeated Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs by pinfall.
  • Video Package: Hype for Mandy Rose vs. Raquel Gonzalez next week.
  • Backstage, Hayes and Williams are looking for the North American Championship. They find a note from Dexter Lumis about meeting with them next week at Halloween Havoc.
  • LA Knight defeated Grayson Waller by pinfall to get the right to be the host of Halloween Havoc.
  • Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Grizzled Young Veterans by pinfall.

  • Drew Gulak defeated Akira Tozawa
  • Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo defeated John Morrison & Ricochet

  • Aleah James defeated Xia Brookside by pinfall.
  • Jack Starz and Dave Mastiff defeated Primate and T-Bone of Symbiosis by disqualification. Following the match, Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter came out to help Starz and Mastiff from a Symbiosis triple-team.
  • Gallus interrupted Charlie Dempsey’s interview and then got into a tiff with Rohan Raja and Teoman.
  • Supernova Sessions: Noam Dar had Moustache Mountain on his show to hype the upcoming NXT UK Heritage Cup match he has with Tyler Bate. Dar stirred the pot by talking about how Trent Seven is holding Bate down.
  • Jordan Devlin defeated Joe Coffey by pinfall.

  • The show opened with a promo from Roman Reigns about Crown Jewel, beating Brock Lesnar and not knowing where Paul Heyman stands. Reigns said he wouldn’t leave until Brock came out, since Brock tweeted about how he’s going to go after him. Eventually, Lesnar did show up and they immediately went after each other. Lesnar was able to take on The Tribal Chief as well as The Usos, some referees and officials, a camera man (breaking a camera in the process) and several members of the roster. Brock then posed with the Universal Championship. After the commercial break, Adam Pearce condemned Lesnar’s actions and indefinitely suspended him. Lesnar then came out and gave Pearce an F5. Then, after the crowd chanted “one more time”, gave him another.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn by pinfall.
  • There was a coronation for the new King of the Ring, Xavier Woods. His reign will be fair and he will give opportunities. All hail King Woods!
  • Mansoor defeated Mustafa Ali by pinfall.

  • Baron Corbin defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall.
  • Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair swapped the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship titles now that they’re on the opposite brands. Sasha Banks came out to take issue with Flair thinking she’s in charge as she’s the boss of the blue brand. They came to blows and Banks stood tall to end the show.

205 LIVE

  • Valentina Feroz and Amari Miller defeated Katrina Cortez and Yulisa Leon by pinfall.
  • “The House” Duke Hudson defeated Malik Blade by pinfall.
  • Xyon Quinn defeated Jeet Rama by pinfall.
