WWE Recap Report: Full TV Show Results & Highlights of the Week

Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.

  • RK-Bro defeated Alpha Academy in a Quiz Bowl showdown.
  • Alpha Academy defeated The Street Profits by pinfall.
  • Bobby Lashley cut a promo on how he beat Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble and how he’ll retain the title at Elimination Chamber.
  • AJ Styles defeated Damian Priest by pinfall in a Champion Contender’s Match.
  • MizTV with Rey Mysterio led to a rematch between Dominik Mysterio and The Miz that Dominik won by pinfall.
  • Bianca Belair defeated Nikki A.S.H. by pinfall.
  • Dana Brooke kissed Reggie on the cheek for always helping her out to fend off R-Truth, Akira Tozawa and Tamina. He asked what that meant and she said that they’re really good friends. They almost kissed again, but ran away to avoid the trio.
  • Kevin Owens defeated Austin Theory by pinfall.
  • Lita’s promo on her upcoming title match was interrupted by Becky Lynch. After some trash talk, they started to fight and Lita came out on top after hitting her moonsault.
  • Doudrop defeated Liv Morgan by pinfall.
  • Riddle defeated Seth Rollins by disqualification after interference from Kevin Owens. Randy Orton made the save. That set up a tag team match where Owens and Rollins beat RK-Bro by pinfall. Orton then hit Owens with an RKO to end the show.

  • The Creed Brothers defeated Grizzled Young Veterans by pinfall to advance to the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals.
  • Backstage, Cora Jade was interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell about how she and Raquel Gonzalez are now in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz popped up to talk some trash with Gonzalez that wasn’t translated.
  • Wendy Choo apparently maxed out Tiffany Stratton’s credit card with Amari Miller.
  • Tiffany Stratton defeated Wendy Choo by pinfall.
  • Pete Dunne defeated Draco Anthony by pinfall and then fought with Tony D’Angelo before challenging D’Angelo to up the ante with their cage match. Now, that will be a “weaponized steel cage match” at Vengeance Day (aka an asylum match)
  • Zoey Stark convinced Io Shirai to pick a new tag team partner who is as crazy as she is. Shirai said she knew who she’d pick, but didn’t tell Stark.
  • Dakota Kai was rummaging through Wendy Choo’s clothes and said her new wardrobe won’t buy her victories in the ring.
  • LA Knight defeated Sanga by pinfall. LA Knight laid out Grayson Waller after the match.
  • McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Duke Hudson about how Dante Chen wants revenge on him. Hudson pointed out that Chen’s not here for a reason, then winked as he told Indi Hartwell to bring home the tag titles.
  • Championship Summit: Bron Breakker and Santos Escobar talked some trash to each other and were interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, who said “You wanted to know if I work Tuesdays? Apparently, I do now.” and asked Breakker who the hell he was. Breakker said he’s the NXT champion and the reason Ziggler’s there, and after he handles Escobar, he’ll handle Ziggler. Ziggler ran down some of his accolades and what he’s capable of. One title he doesn’t have to his name is the NXT Championship. Tommaso Ciampa then came out. It’s a hard pass from him to have Ziggler as NXT champion. Ziggler asked when Ciampa’s going to take the helmet and elbow pads and training wheels off. Ciampa went after Ziggler and Legado del Fantasma used that distraction to gang up on Breakker before putting him through the table.
  • Next week, Waller is going to get LA Knight arrested for breaking the restraining order.
  • Sarray defeated Dakota Kai by pinfall.
  • Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams sat around the barber shop talking about how Cameron Grimes has accomplished nothing so far in NXT compared to Melo.
  • Backstage, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta were approached by Toxic Attraction, who tried to get in their heads by showing them a picture of Indi with Duke Hudson, leading to a fight breaking out.
  • Vignette: Nikkita Lyons is a jack of all trades who can sing and kick ass.
  • Brooks Jensen botched asking Kayden Carter out and made it a group thing of hanging out with Kacy Catanzaro and Josh Briggs on Valentine’s Day, too. Jensen suggested Briggs take Kacy to the movies so he can get some alone time with Kayden and handed him eight bucks. Briggs pointed out how movies are 20 bucks a piece these days and Jensen said he isn’t made of money.
  • Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Match: MSK defeated Malik Blade and Edris Enofe by pinfall to advance to the final versus The Creed Brothers.
  • Wendy Choo gloated about Dakota Kai’s loss.
  • Toxic Attraction was attacked backstage by Hartwell and Pirotta, forcing Mandy Rose to go into her title match alone.
  • NXT Women’s Championship Match: Mandy Rose (c) retained over Kay Lee Ray by pinfall with some help from Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne interfering. Io Shirai then came out to make the save for Kay Lee Ray after the match and took out Toxic Attraction. Shirai and Ray were left in the ring together, indicating they’ll team up for the tournament.

  • Veer defeated T-Bar
  • Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander defeated Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler

  • Amale defeated Nina Samuels by pinfall.
  • A-Kid continues to try to teach proper etiquette to Saxon Huxley, who got confused and thought he was going to hop on a train to Spain.
  • WWE is still waiting a final assessment of Blair Davenport’s injuries she suffered in the Japanese Street Fight last week.
  • Backstage, Moustache Mountain congratulated Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith for earning a tag title shot, but things got tense when Carter was insistent they’ll win the belts.
  • Earlier, someone locked Noam Dar and Sha Samuels in a room after stealing the NXT UK Heritage Cup trophy. Later, they revealed it was Mark Coffey. Gallus also hijacked Supernova 11 Sessions and replaced it with “Gallus Boys on Talk”. Jordan Devlin was their guest. Before Devlin had a chance to say anything about his loss to Ilja Dragunov, they cut him off. Dar and Samuels then came out, having escaped the room. Joe Coffey threatened Dar to keep a tight grasp on the trophy and enjoy it while it lasts.
  • Backstage, Jack Starz wants to be a cohesive unit with Dave Mastiff and was going to take one of Mastiff’s vests. Starz wants to earn his respect.
  • Vignette: Kenny Williams equated Sam Gradwell to a thunderstorm making a lot of noise for attention. But anyone can weather a storm, especially someone like Kenny.
  • A-Kid defeated Saxon Huxley by pinfall. They shook hands after the match.
  • Backstage, Jordan Devlin attacked Wolfgang from behind with a chair.
  • A-Kid was speaking out how he thinks all his hard work with Huxley has paid off. Die Familie came by and they shared a tense look.
  • Next week, Devlin will face Wolfgang. Williams will face Gradwell.
  • Nathan Frazer defeated Teoman by pinfall.

  • Sonya Deville started the show with a promo about how Ronda Rousey should be fined $100k. Adam Pearce informed her Vince McMahon rejected that idea and basically told Deville she’s on thin ice. Naomi then slapped Sonya.
  • Los Lotharios defeated The New Day by pinfall.
  • Dungeon Style Match: Natalya defeated Aliyah by submission. After the match, Natalya continued to beat down on Aliyah until Xia Li made the save.
