WWE Recap Report: Full TV Show Results & Highlights of the Week

Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.

  • Cody Rhodes kicked off the show with a promo about how his mission is to win the world championship and do what his father never did. Seth Rollins came out, but didn’t say a word, and just shook Cody’s hand.
  • Sasha Banks and Naomi defeated Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley by pinfall. Ripley was frustrated with Morgan for their loss, signaling a heel turn to come.
  • Kevin Owens claims he had a bad back from lifting lots of heavy weights the day prior to WrestleMania, but he followed through with his match with Austin because he knew the WWE Universe needed him to deliver a big moment. He’s interrupted by “Ezekiel”, aka Elias with his beard shaved and normal ring gear. He claimed to be the younger brother of Elias, rather than Elias himself. Owens threatened him, but left.
  • The Miz defeated Dominik Mysterio by pinfall in short fashion. Then, Veer Mahaan came out and destroyed The Mysterios.
  • Bianca Belair cut a promo on winning the Raw Women’s Championship and how she’s better than ever before and will be willing to fight anyone.
  • Bron Breakker defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall to win the NXT Championship!
  • MVP and Bobby Lashley spoke about Lashley’s win over Omos at WrestleMania. Omos came out to demand a rematch. MVP then turned on Lashley and joined Omos in beating down The All Mighty.
  • Backstage, Rhea Ripley apologized to Liv Morgan and said she got them tag title shots for next week.
  • Queen Zelina Vega blamed Carmella for losing the tag team titles last night. She then said Corey Graves was a fool for marrying her, but he’s a very handsome man. Carmella rescinded Vega’s spot as a bridesmaid and said if she wants to go to the wedding, she can be her flower girl. They fought until Carmella and Graves started to make out.
  • Austin Theory and The Usos defeated Finn Balor and RK-Bro by pinfall.
  • Edge and Damian Priest echoed similar statements about not caring about the fans anymore, calling them sheep and losers. They’ll continue to pass judgment on anyone who doesn’t follow Edge’s message. AJ Styles came out to fight them, but the numbers game got to him.
  • Tornado Tag Team Match: The Street Profits defeated Alpha Academy by pinfall.
  • The Bloodline celebrated Roman Reigns becoming undisputed champion last night. Tune in to SmackDown to hear what he has to say about what’s next.

  • We’re starting off with a Bron Breakker promo about the Hall of Fame, Stand & Deliver and winning back the NXT Championship on Raw. He’s interrupted by GUNTHER, which leads to Imperium vs. The Creed Brothers. The Creed Brothers came out on top by pinfall after Imperium seems to be splitting up. Following the match, Pretty Deadly revealed themselves as the attackers of The Creed Brothers (after attacking them yet again).
  • Cameron Grimes cut a promo about winning the North American Championship and making his father proud. Solo Sikoa came out to challenge him to a match, which Grimes accepted.
  • Draco Anthony got upset with Xyon Quinn telling him what to do. Quinn told him he needs a lesson in respect.
  • Dexter Lumis vs Duke Hudson ended in a double count-out.
  • NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne defeated Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez (c) by pinfall to win the titles back!

  • Dakota Kai flips out backstage and says Mandy Rose is not safe.
  • Nikkita Lyons defeated Lash Legend by pinfall.
  • Legado del Fantasma congratulates Tony D’Angelo. He offers some wisdom: keep your business out of Legado’s business and everything is okay.
  • NXT Championship Match: Bron Breakker (c) retained the title over GUNTHER by pinfall. Post-match, it was shown that Joe Gacy and Harland have taken Breakker’s father, Rick Steiner, and tied him up, ready to torture him.

  • Apollo Crews defeated a local talent by pinfall
  • Shelton Benjamin defeated T-Bar by pinfall.

  • Primate defeated Wild Boar by pinfall with some help from an interfering Eddie Dennis, who nailed Wild Boar with a steel chain. After the match, Symbiosis put Wild Boar in a collar and beat him until Mark Andrews made the save with a steel chair.
  • Earlier this week at the NXT UK Performance Center, Sam Gradwell planned to prank Kenny Williams, but discovered he had put maggots in his bag.
  • Die Familie spoke about their upcoming matches. Charlie Dempsey doesn’t think he’ll have any problem tapping out Wolfgang. Teoman says pain is temporary, but for A-Kid, it will be permanent. They toast to the continued success of the faction.

  • Next week, Teoman faces A-Kid and the Coffey bros fight Jack Starz and Dave Mastiff.
  • Ilja Dragunov retained the NXT UK Championship over Roderick Strong by pinfall.
