WWE SATURDAY NIGHT’S MAIN EVENT 39 Results:
- Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker defeated CM Punk and Sami Zayn by pinfall partially because Big Bronson Reed interfered, going after CM Punk. Reed has apparently joined Paul Heyman’s faction. After the match, Punk tried to get back into the ring to go after them, but was beaten down some more and suffered a tsunami splash for his efforts.
- Women’s United States Championship Match: Zelina Vega (c) retained over Chelsea Green by pinfall. Green busted her nose during the match after Vega botched a 619.
- Singles Non-Title Match: Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena defeated R-Truth by pinfall after a low-blow and an Attitude Adjustment.
- John Cena and Jey Uso ran into each other backstage. Cena talked about how it’s going to be embarrassing when Uso loses the title to Logan Paul.
- Steel Cage Match: Damian Priest defeated Drew McIntyre by casually walking out of the door (which really upset Jesse “The Body” Ventura and was explained by Michael Cole as Priest wanting to add insult to injury)
- Singles Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Jey Uso (c) defeated Logan Paul by pinfall to retain the title. John Cena interfered in the match and went after Uso, until Cody Rhodes returned and took the fight to Cena and Paul before issuing a challenge for a tag team match at Money in the Bank.
