Welcome to EWrestlingNews’ WWE Monday Night RAW results for October 3, 2022!
We open up with The Judgement Day. Damian Priest vows to make Edge say “I Quit” at Extreme Rules. Dominik Mysterio addresses his father, saying that he hates him. Finally, Finn Balor addresses AJ Styles, saying he could’ve ended his career, but chose not to because he’s a friend. AJ Styles is now out for their match.
Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) vs. Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles
Balor picks up the win with the Coup De Grace.
Winners: Finn Balor and Damian Priest
After the match, Rey Mysterio tries to help AJ Styles up, but he refuses. The pair get into a yelling match with each other, ending with Styles shoving Mysterio down. Judgment Day then attack Styles, ending with Priest landing a powerbomb.
We get a backstage interview with Bobby Lashley, who is interrupted by Mustafa Ali, who demands a shot at the United States Title. Lashley accepts.
We cut to Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso and Solo Siko, as tensions increase between Zayn and Jey Uso who enters late. They then run into The Street Profits. Zayn says on next week’s Monday Night RAW, Roman Reigns and The Bloodline will be there, and they’ll have to “acknowledge” him. They almost get physical, but they decide to wait until they see each other in the ring later tonight.
WWE United States Championship Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Mustafa Ali
Lashley gets in the Hurt Lock and makes Ali fade out.
Winner AND STILL WWE United States Champion: Bobby Lashley
After the match, Lashley is attacked by Seth Rollins with a Curb Stomp. Rollins hits him with another one, but this time on the title. Rollins then hits Ali with a Curb Stomp too. Rollins gets on the mic and hypes up his match with Matt Riddle at Extreme Rules. He then calls Riddle out, whose music hits.
Rollins and Riddle exchange words, with Rollins taking a shot at Riddle not being able to see his kids. Rollins dares Riddle to break their No Contact clause before their match and hit him, but warns child support is expensive and he needs every dime he can get. Daniel Cormier is on the big screen and says he’s tired of their behavior.
Rollins knocks off Riddle’s hat and heads backstage. Backstage, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka wish Candice LeRae good luck before her match with Dakota Kai. The Miz is backstage and vows to put an end to his issues with Lumis tonight. He also teases a birthday celebration next week. Lumis was spying on him the entire time.
Candice LeRae vs. Dakota Kai
Kai rolls up LeRae for the win after some help from Bayley.
Winner: Dakota Kai
Backstage we get Miz waking up from a nap, and he’s holding a caricature of himself and Lumis.
Johnny Gargano vs. Otis
After a distraction from Theory, Otis hits his finisher for the win.
Winner: Otis
After the match, Alpha Academy and Theory beat down Gargano, but Braun Strowman comes out for the save.
Braun Strowman vs. Gable
Strowman gets a quick win with a powerbomb.
Winner: Braun Strowman
Backstage, Lashley is being tended to by medical personnel. He vows to get revenge on Rollins next week and will put his United States Title up for grabs.
It’s time for the contract signing between Bianca Belair and Bayley. The signing is overlooked by Corey Graves, and sees Belair and Bayley exchanging words with one another, signing the contract. Bayley then asks how her girls are, and we cut to IYO SKY and Dakota Kai attacking Alexa Bliss and Asuka backstage. Belair fights off Bayley and goes back to check on Asuka and Bliss. Bliss challenges SKY to a match later.
Solo Sikoa vs. Angelo Dawkins
Sikoa nails Dawkins with a Samoan Drop and Spinning Solo for the victory.
Winner: Solo Sikoa
We see Theory and Alpha Academy backstage. Gable vows to get even with Gargano next week.
We get a promo from Edge who hypes up his match with Finn Balor at Extreme Rules.
Alexa Bliss vs. IYO SKY
Sky hits the Over the Moonsault for the win.
Winner: IYO SKY
Damage CTRL takes out Bliss after the match but Asuka and Belair attempt the save. In the end, Damage CTRL beat down Belair, Asuka, and Bliss, holding up their titles and the RAW Women’s Title to go off air.
