WWE RAW (11/25/2024)
The show begins with the World Heavyweight Champion. Jackie Redmond asks Gunther what happened last week. We are shown what happened when he failed to attack Damian Priest backstage. Ever since his loss to Cody Rhodes, it is like we are seeing a different side to him. What is his response to Priest saying that his loss is getting to him? Before Gunther can answer, Priest’s music interrupts him.
Damian Priest wants to know if Gunther grew a set this week, so let’s hear him talk. He doesn’t have this killer vibe anymore. Maybe the pressure of being champion got to him. In his life, he has never had a problem like him. At Survivor Series, this problem is taking that championship. What happens to Gunther after Survivor Series when he loses to a guy from the street? He insists that Gunther says something, and yet he decides not to. Instead, he hits him with the microphone.
After beating him down, Gunther looks as if he is about to smash Priest through the announce table, but Priest counters and puts him through it with the Razor’s Edge!
Team Rhea have to figure out who will replace Jade Cargill on their team. Bianca Belair doesn’t want it to be Bayley, and Ripley doesn’t help much, as she only cares about getting ahold of Liv Morgan. A frustrated Bianca Belair tells them she’s going to get ready for her match and will leave them to figure it out.
#1. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee vs. The Creed Brothers – Winner: American Made
After R-Truth officially declares that Thanksgiving is over to the Judgment Day, Finn Balor gives the family a motivational speech.
#2. Bron Breakker vs. Ludwig Kaiser – Winner: No Contest after Sheamus’ interference
A vicious fight breaks out between them, which security and officials struggle to stop. An angry Adam Pearce tells them they will fight at Survivor Series for the Intercontinental Championship between Bron Breakker, Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser.
#3. [World Tag Team Championship] Finn Balor & JD McDonagh (c) vs. The War Raiders – Winners: Judgment Day retains
The New Day is scheduled for a 10-year anniversary celebration next week. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston put their recent animosity to one side ahead of it.
#4. The New Day vs. Alpha Academy (w/ Maxxine Dupri) – Winners: Alpha Academy
It gets deeply personal between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston backstage, as Kingston tells Woods that he fumbled his opportunities, while Kofi would not have become World Champion without him. Kingston tells Woods that he never became a World Champion because he wasn’t good enough. Woods says he was good enough to take his beatings for him, and to believe in him. But what did he do? He pissed away Kofimania by losing to Brock Lesnar in six seconds. Almost at boiling point, they both agree to see each other next week at the anniversary.
The Final Testament leaves Scarlett on her own, which proves to be unsafe, because Nikki Cross appears in her locker room. When they return, she is distaught having been attacked.
Earlier tonight, Adam Pearce unveiled the new Women’s Intercontinental Championship. There will be a tournament held to crown the inaugural champion.
#5. [War Games Advantage] Nia Jax vs. Bianca Belair – Winner: Bianca Belair with an assist from Bayley
There was a friendly smirk at each other afterward, so Bayley may be on the team.
