WWE RAW (12/4/2023)
Drew McIntyre comes to the ring and gets a microphone. Apparently you can go away, do a bunch of dumb stuff, come back and be forgiven. The crowd chants “CM Punk, but Drew brushes it off. He mocks Jey Uso for apologizing to Randy Orton. Who is he forgetting? Oh yeah, Sami Zayn. After making his entrance, Zayn says if he has something to say about him, he might as well say it to his face.
Drew says the truth is that Zayn deserved to be screwed by The Bloodline, because he screwed them over. Zayn says the more truth he hears from him, the less alike he thinks they are. He doesn’t point fingers at others when he is frustrated with his shortcomings. He stayed motivated and got his redemption against The Bloodline. Does Drew think he is making his family proud? McIntyre says one of them is not walking out of this show tonight.

Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring to talk. He says when he was a kid, he was afraid of The Miz, done by a legend called The Great Muta. Cody admits he should have paid more attention to what Shinsuke Nakamura was saying. Clearly, Shinsuke has his attention, so he could either emerge from the shadows to explain himself, or he can march down and they can fight. Nakamura appears on the titantron screen.
Last week he made Cody’s eyes burn, but today he will open them. The path they have taken is the same story. They climbed the mountain to WrestleMania, and they could see the top. Like him, he slipped, tumbled, and fell into a bottomless pit. They suffered the same humiliation. A fall from grace. Pages gone unwritten. But now he has awoken him, inspired him, and he is here to inspire. Shinsuke wants to take the story from him and finish it. Cody Rhodes responds by saying if they are the same, he should prove it.
