WWE RAW (2/5/2024)
Seth Rollins opens the show. He says it has been a hell of a week here in WWE, and he certainly smells what’s cookin’. There are some jeers at the mention, followed by a “Cody” chant. Good news! Seth Rollins wants him too. He isn’t wasting no more time. Come on down Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare makes his entrance.
The crowd chants “Rocky Sucks” and “We Want Cody”. Seth Rollins says we need answers. Last week, he said this is the most prestigious title in WWE, and he stands by that. He needs this match as much as he does. He has got to know he is the best by testing himself against the best. Is he going to fight him at WrestleMania? Drew McIntyre interrupts Cody before he can answer.
He says that he set this up perfectly for WrestleMania by taking out CM Punk. McIntyre tells Cody not to listen to Seth and finish the story he has been talking about for two years. He has earned this moment. Don’t him, his family, and the people across the world down. Don’t let your dad down. Rollins tells him not to be a prick. They already did the dance twice, and he lost. McIntyre says Rollins has worked his butt off to make his title mean something, but if he is a real workhorse, they would have shot him dead after the first injury. It is time for Drew McIntyre to take it from here. He delivers a cheap shot to Rollins, and Rhodes stops him from continuing the assault.
