WWE RAW Results (6/16/2025)
Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio open the show. Liv is here to talk about respect, as everyone needs reminding that this is her division. Nikki Bella learned the hard way last week. Nobody paved the way for her, as she is a record breaker and greatest women’s tag team champion of all time. Liv is not asking for respect, she is demanding it. She also wants her rematch for the Women’s World Championship.
IYO SKY answers the call. She tells Liv to shut her mouth. All she does is whine and show disrespect. If she wants to fight, she is right here. If she wants this title, she has to earn it. Liv tells her to give her the title, so IYO does, along with a dropkick. She also gives Dominik a cheap shot.
#1. [Queen Of The Ring First Round] Asuka vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Ivy Nile – Winner: Asuka
Rhea Ripley got involved by hitting Raquel Rodriguez with the Riptide. Afterwards, Asuka tells Cathy Kelley that the fire didn’t die, it is still alive, and she will become Queen In The Ring. Nobody is ready for Asuka!
The new World Heavyweight Champion arrives. Gunther has a big smile on his face.
During the break, The New Day talks to the crowd. They have an announcement so big it can only be made here in Green Bay, Wisconsion. They will be defending the tag team championships, but it will not be here, because this is the toilet paper capital of the world. However, they have yet to find anyone worthy to challenge them. They should be thankful to see these titles in “Title Town”. Thank god for The New Day.
Backstage, Dominik Mysterio suggests he should be watching JD McDonagh’s back tonight, and not Finn, which he agrees to. Liv Morgan goes to handle business by herself because Rodriguez is hurt. Balor tells Roxanne Perez he has a plan to help Liv.
Gunther enters the ring. He tells us that after WrestleMania, he had to admit Jey Uso was the better man for one night. On every other night, he is untouchable. He heard all the rumors about what is next for him. And no, it is definitely not Goldberg. He learned his lesson. All he cares about is the reality of Seth Rollins holding Money In The Bank. He talks directly to Seth. A few weeks ago, he said he would become a target. Gunther makes it easy for him. He is right here. Goldberg enters!
Goldberg tells Gunther this is his night. Congratulations to the new champion. Before he goes, a few months ago, he started something between him and his family. And he is going to make sure that he ends it in Atlanta, Georgia. July 12th at Saturday Night’s Main Event, he is his, because he’s next!
#2. AJ Styles vs. JD McDonagh (w/ Dominik Mysterio) – Winner: AJ Styles
Judgment Day tries to blindside AJ, but he fights back and gets hold of the IC title. The heels try to play the numbers game by surrounding the ring, but AJ is clever enough to roll out of the ring as they enter. He grins while holding up the IC title.
– Sheamus checks in with Tozawa, Dupri and Natalya after recent weeks of abuse by Rusev. Tozawa tells Sheamus to “kick his ass” tonight.
Bayley talks about how blessed she is to be in this ring, and how she was robbed of a WrestleMania match. But she doesn’t do this for the big moments, the titles, or for one night occasions like WrestleMania. She puts in all that she can for nights like tonight in front of everyone here. If Becky Lynch thinks she broke her, she is wrong. It only made her stronger. She is climbing that ladder to knock her down, so Becky better get her ass out here right now. The new champion walks to the ring.
Becky says Bayley would always prefer to have her friends than a legacy. Bayley fires back by saying she already has a Hall Of Fame career and is doing this to bring up the girls and to fight for the people. Becky says she used to do the same thing. Bayley calls her insecure, and that she had to take her out to be a surprise to ensure the people would care about her return. Becky thinks Bayley has forgotten what gold feels like, so Bayley tells her to remind her. The champion will offer her a title match, but it won’t be here. As Lynch turns her back, Bayley delivers a cheap shot.
– Jey Uso says he and Gunther are 1-1, so they are going to run it back at some point. If that means winning King Of The Ring, then so be it.
#3. Kairi Sane vs. Liv Morgan – Winner: Kairi Sane after Liv Morgan was unable to finish the match due to injury
It is confirmed that Liv Morgan has a dislocated shoulder.
Karrion Kross talks to Sami Zayn again. After riling him up, Zayn insults him by calling him a coward for not backing up what he says. When this King of the Ring is done, Sami will go to Adam Pearce so they can finally settle this with a match. Kross tells him he has wanted that all along.
#4. [King Of The Ring First Round] Sheamus vs. Jey Uso vs. Rusev vs. Bronson Reed – Winner: Jey Uso
After a ton of interference, Jey Uso gets the win on Bronson Reed. An angry Seth Rollins enters the ring to get a piece of Jey, but Cody Rhodes is here! There’s a tense staredown between them. Rollins thinks better of it and leaves.
