- Cody Rhodes and John Cena have their in-ring promo to start the show. Rhodes gives Cena some softballs like Stardust and his lisp. Cena says he’s not going to punch down, that he doesn’t bury talent because he is talent, and that Rhodes has ridden his coattails. Over the years, Cena has been so great that WWE could hand the heart of the company over to his chauffeur who has stolen all the secrets he needs to be “undeniable” from him, but Rhodes is still underwhelming. Rhodes is too perfect and polished and rehearsed, and is relying on lazy gimmicks like them singing his name to get by. He’s nothing but a catchy tune, and Rhodes doesn’t even show everyone who he truly is because he’s just a mix of other things he’s emulating. Rhodes is just someone mediocre holding something meaningful and it’s tricked everyone. He calls Rhodes a paint-by-numbers sociopathic nepo baby so egotistical that his wrestling gimmick is tattooed on his neck. Rhodes retorts that Cena’s the real company creation from Vince McMahon. What Cena’s really created was a lot of disenfranchised fans who went to AEW with Rhodes when he left. Rhodes says Cena’s still his hero, but he’s also a piece of sh*t.
- The New Day defeated New Catch Republic by pinfall. After the match, The New Day cut a quick promo about how they deserve a tag title shot. War Raiders came out, but just posed with the titles, rather than any announcement being made just yet.
- Gunther defeated Jimmy Uso by submission via referee stoppage. After the match, Jey tried to help out Jimmy when Gunther kept attacking him. A commercial break later, Gunther then jumped them both and kept the fight going, zip-tying Jey to the turnbuckle and forcing him to watch as he beat down a bloodied Jimmy.
- Finn Balor claims he and Dominik Mysterio have made up and are just fighting like brothers do, but he also couldn’t help but to toss out a dig at Raquel Rodriguez for failing to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship last week at the same time.
- The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & Finn Balor) defeated Bron Breakker & Penta by pinfall. Breakker accidentally speared Penta in some miscommunication, and Balor pinned Penta for the win.
- Chad Gable touts how he’d love to get in the ring with El Grande Americano at some point. He’ll be good for next week in Minneapolis, his home town, but he’s still sick this week. Adam Pearce wants El Grande Americano to compete next week, though, which upsets Gable, who runs right into Alpha Academy and calls them clowns. Maxxine Dupri wants to talk to Pearce about some opportunities in the tag team division not just for Otis and Akira Tozawa, but herself and Natalya.
- Promo: In the ring, Logan Paul and AJ Styles traded some verbal shots before getting into a physical fight that Paul ended up winning. Though they alluded to a match at WrestleMania, it wasn’t made official.
- Backstage, Lyra Valkyria tells Jackie Redmond that she wants to face Bayley next week to prove that she can successfully defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against her, as Bayley had beaten her since she’s won that title.
- Finn Balor is excited to talk to Adam Pearce about getting himself an IC title match. When he leaves, Liv Morgan tells Dom that he should be getting a match as he worked just as hard to get that tag team win and Balor already lost to Breakker, so she’s going to talk to Pearce after Balor’s done.
- Women’s World Championship Match with special guest referee Bianca Belair: Iyo Sky (c) vs Rhea Ripley was ruled a double disqualification due to both Ripley and Sky hitting Belair at different points. After the match, all three of them went to blows, and Ripley stood tall with the title despite not winning it tonight.
