Manik (TNA) vs. Minoru Tanaka

They go back and forth early. Manik avoids a dive by Tanaka and hits a
neckbreaker. Basement dropkick by Manik for a nearfall. Back suplex by Manik for
a nearfall. Tanaka comes back with a dropkick. Missile dropkick by Tanaka for a
nearfall. Snap suplex by Tanaka for a nearfall. Manik sent outside, Tanaka wipes
him out with a Orihara Moonsault off the top. Back in, Manik comes back with a
springboard dropkick. Manik goes for the Frog Splash, but Tanaka gets his knees
up. They head up top, Superplex by Tanaka for a nearfall. They fight over a
backslide, then Manik hits a Brainbuster for a nearfall. Tanaka then drills
Manik with a head kick.
Cross armbreaker applied, Manik taps.

Ethan Carter III comes out and cuts a promo, ripping on the Japanese crowd
and Team 3D before their Hall of Fame induction tonight. Carter says he will
“Ham Slam” Hama tonight because he is a Carter and the world needs us.
Ethan Carter III (TNA) vs. Ryota Hama
(Wrestle-1)
Hama works over Carter early with shoulder tackles. Carter taunts Hama, but
Hama hits a flapjack. Hama misses a splash and Carter begins working him over.
Hama hits a clothesline and an elbow drop. Running Butt Splash by Hama in the
corner for a nearfall. Carter goes for a Sunset Flip, but Hama blocks it. Carter
avoids a Butt Drop and gains a nearfall. Hama gives Carter a Stinkface in the
corner, but Carter with a kick down low.
One Percenter by Carter for the win.

Backstage, MVP says he is here because he appreciates the Japanese style more
so than when he was part of sports-entertainment. Says he will beat Kazma
Sakamoto tonight.
MVP (TNA) vs. Kazma Sakamoto
(Wrestle-1)
MVP takes control early. Sakamoto tries a shoulder tackle, but MVP does not
go down. Sakamoto bows to MVP, but MVP grabs him by the hair and hits some right
hands, followed by a front slam. Sakamoto rolls outside before MVP can do the
Ballin’ Elbow. MVP then wipes out Sakamoto with a slingshot plancha. Crowd
chants for MVP. Sakamoto rakes the eyes, but MVP sends him into the barricade,
then hits a running boot that sends Sakamoto into the crowd. Back in, MVP gains
a nearfall. Sakamoto unloads with shots to MVP in the corner. Series of leg
kicks by Sakamoto. Sakamoto avoids a running boot in the corner by MVP, hits a
bulldog. Sakamoto mocks MVP by hitting him with the Ballin’ Elbow. MVP comes
back with a back body drop. Series of clothesline shots by MVP in the corner,
followed by an Exploder. Facebuster across the knee, then MVP shows Sakamoto how
its done with the Ballin’ Elbow. Fisherman by MVP for a nearfall. Sakamoto
avoids another running boot and hits a knee strike, followed by a superkick for
a nearfall. Sliding dropkick by Sakamoto for a nearfall. MVP avoids a Basement
Meteora, roll-up for a nearfall. Dropkick to the knees by MVP.

Backstage, Samoa Joe says he is here tonight to give respect and to show the
world what the X-Division is, a division with no limits, no restrictions and one
requirement, you give it your all to face me for my title. I have beaten many
since winning the title and now I face two, Low-Ki and Kaz Hayashi, two men who
will do whatever it takes to win the title. Gentlemen, be prepared to take it to
the next level, but be prepared to be disappointed. I am Samoa Joe and I am
walking out of here still the X-Division Champion.
Triple Threat Match for the TNA X-Division Title: Samoa Joe
(c) (TNA) vs. Low-Ki (TNA) vs. Kaz Hayashi (Wrestle-1)
Ki sends Hayashi outside early. Joe & Ki go back and forth, but then
Hayashi with a leg lariat to Ki in the corner. Joe with a running back elbow to
Hayashi, followed by an enziguri to Ki in the corner. Snapmare/chop/FK combo by
Joe to Hayashi, followed by a leaping kneedrop for a nearfall. Hayashi fights
back, sends Joe outside. Ki works over Hayashi. Through the ropes dropkick by Ki
to Joe. Spinning heel kick by Hayashi to Ki. Joe blocks being suplexed back in
by Hayashi. They fight on the apron, big chop by Joe sends Hayashi outside. Joe
with a head of steam, but Ki with a springboard roundhouse for a nearfall. Ki
sends Joe outside. Ki & Hayashi exchange chops outside. Double clothesline
by Joe wipes out Ki & Hayashi. Crowd chants for Joe. Back in, inverted
atomic drop, big boot, back senton by Joe to Hayashi, Ki breaks up the pin.
Running forearm by Ki to Joe, then elbows to Joe on the ropes. Joe comes back
with a powerbomb for a nearfall, then transitions to a Boston Crab variation.
Joe switches to a STF, Hayashi then crossfaces both Joe & Ki at the same
time. Joe with slaps to Hayashi, but Hayashi with Kawada Kicks. Running boot by
Hayashi, but Joe fires up. Neckbreaker by Hayashi for a nearfall. Ki with a
running dropkick to Joe. Hayashi catapults Ki, but Ki springs to the middle
rope, Warrior’s Way by Ki for a nearfall. Joe kicks at Ki from the outside and
pulls him out. Hayashi with a head of steam, but Joe avoids him. Joe with a head
of steam, tope suicida wipes out Ki & Hayashi as they all crash into the
barricade. Back in, Joe hits ST-Joe on Hayashi in the corner. Handspring by Ki
sends Hayashi to the outside. Slap exchange between Joe & Ki.
Kokina Clutch applied by Joe on Ki, Ki passes out, ref calls for the
bell.

Afterwards, Joe speaks some Japanese to the crowd, then thanks the crowd for
coming, TNA & Wrestle-1 are bringing you a new brand of pro wrestling and I
am Samoa Joe and I am pro wrestling.
We see video of Bully Ray putting Dixie Carter through a table.
Backstage, Tommy Dreamer says it was an honor to induct Team 3D into the TNA
Hall of Fame in such a honorable place like Japan. It will be great to face Team
3D again tonight, I’ve had many partners here in Japan, like the Sandman and
Terry Funk, tonight it will be Abyss. It will mean a lot to face Team 3D one
more time tonight.
Jeremy Borash introduces the Wrestle-1 ring announcer to ring announce the
next match.
Wrestle-1 Showcase: El Hijo del Pantera & Andy Wu vs.
Novus (Jiro Kuroshio & Yusuke Kodama)
Wu & Jiro start. Jiro is still wearing his ring jacket. Jiro avoids Wu
early and taunts the crowd. Wu with a shoulder tackle, but Jiro kips up. Same
thing occurs, then Jiro with a savate kick to the ribs. Wu with a Matrix move,
then hits an armdrag. Series of evasions, Pantera & Kodama tag in. Pantera
shows off his agility, running across the ropes. Series of evasions, then
Pantera with a rana. Kodama applauds Pantera, then wants a handshake, but then
hits a gut kick. Kodama taunts the crowd, but Pantera flips outside, then hits a
springboard armdrag, sending Kodama to the outside. Pantera sets to dive, but
the ref stops him. Pantera then flips over the ref and wipes out Kodama with a
flip dive. Back in, Pantera gains a nearfall while trash talking Jiro. Kodama
avoids a charge, Jiro with a kick to Pantera, then Kodama with a flapjack for a
nearfall. Jiro in, slam to Pantera. Cross-armed pin by Jiro for a nearfall. Same
pin by Jiro, Wu breaks up the pin. Standing corkscrew moonsault by Jiro for a
nearfall. Kodama in, tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a nearfall. Flying back elbow
in the corner, but Pantera avoids a charge and hits a Moonsault Kick, followed
by a dropkick. Wu in, crossbody, 2 armdrags and a dropkick to Kodama for a
nearfall. Wu avoids Kodama, but Kodama with a back elbow. Kodama heads up top,
but Wu with a Stratusphere. Double team by Wu & Pantera. Pantera with a 619
variation and a flipping leg drop to Kodama, Jiro breaks up the pin. Wu sends
Jiro outside, then wipes him out with a crossbody off the tope. Pantera slams
Kodama, then heads up top, but Kodama avoids him and hits a dropkick. Superkick
by Kodama, Wu breaks up the pin. Jiro sends Wu outside and wipes him out with a
somersault plancha.

A video plays for Team 3D’s induction into the TNA Hall of Fame. It was a
private ceremony for the wrestlers, apparently, and included the Great Muta in
attendance. Tommy Dreamer inducted them. Really nice clip.
Tommy Dreamer & Abyss vs. Team 3D
Huge reaction for Team 3D, during the entrances and ring introductions.
Bully Ray offers handshakes before the match. Tommy Dreamer accepts, but Abyss
walks away. Dreamer & Devon begin in the ring. They trade go behinds,
missed elbow drops, before Abyss tags himself in much to Dreamer’s chagrin. He
emphatically points to Bully Ray, and Devon obliges by tagging him in. Abyss
& Ray trade right hands, until Bully Ray hits a standing uranage. Abyss
answers back, and they stand off. Bully Ray catches a clothesline to take Abyss
down, but takes a bodyslam in the next exchange. Devon in, and Team 3D
clothesline Abyss outside the ring. Dreamer comes in, but is met by a double
team neckbreaker. All four men inside, Abyss is thrown back outside, as Devon
climbs up, and drops onto Dreamer for 3D’s signature flying headbutt. Ray leads
the Japanese crowd in calling for the tables, and they set one up in the ring.
Abyss & Dreamer cut them off before they can use it, and they brawl
outside. Dreamer spits water in Devon’s face, while Abyss rings the bell on
Ray’s head. They go into the crowd, where Bully Ray puts the ring bell on
Abyss’ groin, and gives it a ring. Ray then finds Dreamer for a shot with the
mallet, and then goes under the ring to fill the ring with weapons. Everyone
climbs in, for a chair & kendo stick fight. 3D get the advantage, but Abyss
& Dreamer turn it around, and each slam an opponent for a double-pin
attempt. Dreamer puts a garbage can in the turnbuckle, but eats it himself,
courtesy of Bully Ray. Abyss makes him pay with a Black Hole Slam for a
nearfall. Devon in, but he is welcomed by a chair (hard plastic, by the way,
not steel). Abyss goes for a seated senton, but Devon blocks it, and gets some
shots in. Devon sets Abyss’ head on the table, and climbs up. Dreamer cuts him
off, and looks for a superplex, but Ray cuts HIM off, powerbombing Dreamer
through the table. Abyss breaks things up, and introduces his beloved
thumbtacks right onto the W-1 logo in the middle of the ring. He looks for a
double chokeslam, but instead it is Abyss going face-first into the tacks, with
a flapjack. Dreamer in with a kendo stick, but 3D avoid it, and end things with
a 3D on Dreamer for the 1-2-3.
Winners: Team 3D by pinfall (3D)
Team 3D bring a Bullet Club (New Japan stable) t-shirt into the ring, and
throw it into the thumbtacks. Bully Ray grabs a microphone, and thanks the
crowd in attendance and at home. “Thank you 3D” chant from the crowd, followed
by “TNA”. Ray says that their favourite place to fight in Tokyo, Japan. Devon
testifies with the crowd, and 3D exit through the stands.
Backstage, we see an interview with Velvet Sky, who says she’s been around
for a long time, and assures us that she is not afraid of Havok.
A video plays, showing Havok’s path of destruction, and her Knockouts title
victory over Gail Kim on Impact.
Knockouts Championship: Velvet Sky (challenger) vs. Havok

In honour of Impact recapper Josh Boutwell, THE PIGEONS ARE LOOSE IN
TOKYO!
Velvet Sky avoids a series of charges from Havok, and answers with a couple
running clotheslines, and double axe handles from all four turnbuckles, but
Havok stays on her feet, catches a crossbody attempt, and slams Sky down to take
control. Havok chokes Velvet on the ropes, and gives her a huge kick to the
ribs. She drives her into the turnbuckle for a couple charging shoulder thrusts
to the midsection. Velvet yells that “she’s crazy”, as she crawls out of the
corner, and ends up in a backbreaker stretch for her troubles. Into a bearhug,
Velvet elbows out, but is dropped by a forearm smash. Havok sets her up, and
climbs the turnbuckle. She leaps off for a legdrop, but Velvet Sky rolls out of
the way. Sky charges in with forearms and clotheslines, but against can’t take
Havok down. Havok shoots her off the ropes, and a headscissors finally takes
Havok down. Velvet catches a crossbody of the turnbuckle, but is caught herself
on another double axe handle attempt. Havok locks in a bearhug, and Velvet taps
out almost immediately.
Winner and still Knockouts Champion: Havok by submission

As Havok leaves with her title, Mike Tenay reminds us that Madison Rayne is
next in line for a title shot.
Pre-taped comments from James Storm, telling Great Muta that there’s always
room for one more in his revolution. We then get a video package highlighting
Storm assembling his army.
Main Event: James Storm & Great Sanada vs. Tajiri &
Great Muta
Muta & Tajiri come together to both spit out mist as the bell sounds.
Sanada & Muta start in the ring, teacher vs. student. Muta with a quick
single leg takedown, and transitions into a leg grapevine. Great Sanada makes
the ropes, and we get a clean break. Sanada flashes the agility to stay out of
the clutches of Muta, and taunts his mentor by spitting blue mist into the air.
Tajiri & Storm tag in, and Storm throws Tajiri across the ring. Tajiri
answers back with a dropkick to the knee, and begins dishing out his signature
kicks. Storm breaks free and tags back to Sanada, who is sent to the apron, and
knocked off by a running handstand/springboard kick to the face. Sanada crawls
under the ring, and Tajiri follows. After a moment, Sanada drags Tajiri out,
whose face is now covered with blue mist. Storm and Sanada work Tajiri over in
the ring, with Sanada choking Tajiri on the ropes, and hitting a snap suplex for
a 2 count. They hit an elbow drop/standing moonsault combination for a nearfall.
Tajiri tries to fight back against Sanada, but Storm runs into the ring to break
it up with punches. Storm distracts the referee, and Sanada drills Tajiri
with… some sort of white rod that commentary can’t identify either. Tajiri
does make it to his corner, though, and Great Muta is tagged in. Muta with a
dragon screw to Sanada, takes his former protege outside, where he hits him with
the rod, a chair, and chokes him with the mic cord. Back in the ring, Muta goes
for a pin, but Storm breaks it up. Storm with a flying elbow drop, and Sanada
with a moonsault from the top, for a nearfall. Tajiri in, he sends Storm
crashing to the entrance ramp with a backbody drop. Sanada shoves Tajiri into
the referee, and misses with a blue mist attempt. Sanada comes off the
turnbuckle, and is met with double mist from Muta and Tajiri. Tajiri with a
Buzzsaw kick, and Great Muta with a Shining Wizard, for the pin and the win.
Winners: Tajiri & Great Muta by pinfall (Shining
Wizard)
James Storm attacks Muta after the match, and tosses Tajiri to the outside.
He signals to the back, and Manik rushes out with a bullrope. Storm chokes Great
Muta with the rope, but out come Team 3D for the save. Muta spits mist in
Storm’s face, who stumbles back into a 3D. Team 3D and Great Muta stand tall to
end the show.
