TNA IMPACT Results (5/1/2025)
Joe Hendry opens the show and the crowd chants “Happy Birthday”. He thanks them for that, but we are live and he has things to say. Hendry talks about how he was attacked from behind by Trick Williams, so he went to NXT to call him out, but was jumped by Dark State. Back there, TNA has the best roster in the world, and if Dark State wants to try something, come get some. Otherwise, he is calling out Trick Williams right now! His music plays. He appears on the screen, but he isn’t in the building tonight as he’s getting ready for the battle royal. But he’ll be watching and will see him soon.
Sami Callihan and Mance Warner agree they had one of the most violent, sadistic matches in TNA historyat Unbreakable. Despite not trusting each other, they shake each other’s hand and agree they are done for now.
#1. Mike Santana vs. Isiah Moore – Winner: Mike Santana
Steve Maclin makes his way to the ring to address his issues with Eric Young and Northern Armory, but he is attacked by the same men before he can make it. They tie up Maclin in the ropes with a chain while they beat him down some more. Security rushes out to stop them, but they have already done the damage.
#2. [X-Division Championship] Moose (c) vs. Zachary Wentz – Winner: Moose retains
Mustafa Ali is struggling after losing at Rebellion. One of the Great Hands tells us he hasn’t been the same, and it could make him more dangerous.
Cody Deaner makes his way to the ring. He tells us his contract is expiring tonight, so he came out to speak from the heart for one last time. The reason he hasn’t been able to secure a contract is because he hasn’t been able to win a match in over a year. All he has ever wanted to do is to be a pro wrestler.
He is not just a proud wrestler, but also a proud husband and father. TNA has had faith in him, so if this is his last time and he loses his contract, he won’t feel like a loser, as he got to spend time with all the TNA fans. Santino Marella appears. He lets Deaner know he can extend his contract and give him a match against Eddie Edwards at Under Siege. If he can beat Edwards, Santino will have a case to put to the board of directors to renew his contract.
Robert Stone and Alicia Fox interrupt to tell us that Deaner is a waste of space and Marella is officially under review. TNA needs Robert Stone, and the higher ups have put him in a position to oversee everything Santino does. If he lets something slip through the cracks, Victoria Crawford (Alicia Fox) is here to help him out. At Under Siege, Crawford has a Knockouts title match against Masha Slamovich. And when she wins, TNA can finally be proud of their champion.
#3. Maggie Lee vs. Jody Threat (w/ Dani Luna) – Winner: Jody Threat
Indi Hartwell gets interviewed. She thanks everyone for supporting her over the past ten years. As an Australian, she stayed up really late to watch the Knockouts, and now she gets to be one. And not just any Knockout… but “The Knockout”. She isn’t just here to be another woman on the roster. Things are about to get shaken up as Indi Hartwell officially crosses the line.
#4. KC Navarro vs. Leon Slater – Winner: Leon Slater
#5. Frankie Kazarian & The Nemeths vs. Joe Hendry & The Hardys – Winners: Kazarian & The Nemeths
To end the show, Trick Williams blindsides Joe Hendry and takes him out.
