BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW: Dasha Fuentes asks Neville why he requested a match with Mustafa Ali for later tonight. It basically boils down to “I’m the king of the cruiserweights” along with “he interrupted me and that’s disrespectful” with some more flowery language.
MATCH: Tony Nese defeats TJ Perkins
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW: Dasha approaches Drew Gulak and asks him to clarify more on what he meant with his rant last week. Gulak says the wrestlers act like glorified stuntmen in order to get the WWE Universe to cheer and it’s an unsafe environment.
—Commercial Break—
MATCH: Akira Tozawa IMMEDIATELY defeats his opponent, who doesn’t even get his name mentioned. After the fact, Tozawa gets a microphone to call out Brian Kendrick. When he doesn’t show up, Tozawa starts to make his way to the back but is attacked by a member of the security staff, who, surprise surprise, is actually Brian Kendrick. Lesson #8: Appearances can be deceiving.
BACKSTAGE: Gentleman Jack Gallagher and Rich Swann are in the locker room, going over tips they have for each other’s styles. Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari approach them to ask about who is sending gifts to Alicia Fox. Dar challenges Swann for next week.

PROMO: Austin Aries comes out, eating a banana. He gives the peel to a kid in the crowd. (What a nice guy.) He interviews himself about Neville, who comes out to interrupt him when he’s about to say an embarrassing story about him.
