We start with a recap of Daniel Bryan answering The Fiend’s challenge. Out comes The Miz. Miz says due to the horrific event that took place last week, Bryan is not available to be his guest and that he’s virtually disappeared.
Miz talks about how he knows Bryan since he came to the WWE, but he also knows him better than anyone and that how much he means to the WWE Universe. The Miz says that he’s determined to find out what happened to Daniel Bryan, and no matter how much it pains him to say it, he says he cares about him.
Firefly Fun House comes out, and Bray says that neither he or himself wants to know about Daniel Bryan because he could be with “him”, and he may not be done with him. He says that it’s a shame, because he was looking forward to playing with him at TLC, but he invites The Miz to play with him instead. Miz says it’s not about him, but it’s about Daniel Bryan
Wyatt gets sad, but then he talks about family. He says he himself used to have a family, and now has a chance to join a new one. Bray has a portrait of The Miz, his wife and children. Bray asks if he wants to play with him now. Miz gets visibly agitated. Bray says it’s time to say goodbye as Firefly Fun House ends and Miz storms to the back.
The Miz is seen backstage speaking to his wife and he says that he’s coming home.
Mandy Rose vs. Alexa Bliss
Mandy Rose tries to take advantage of a distraction on the outside, but Bliss counters with a DDT that was slightly mistimed. She ends Rose with Twisted Bliss.
Winner: Alexa Bliss
Dana Brooke is in catering backstage and is approached by Drake Maverick. He questions Dana on her date with Batista. Maverick says he feels rejected because he felt they had something. He asks what Batista has that he doesn’t. This brings out Elias. Elias says when words fail us, songs provides an answer and he proceeds to sing.
He mentions that Batista is a millionaire and is tall, and Maverick would have a better chance with a blow-up doll. He also references Maverick’s marriage problems and that the only action he’s been getting is with lotions and tissues. Maverick slaps Elias. Brooke asks Elias if he really got it in with Maverick’s wife. Elias says no, but something will happen.
Maverick is in the ring and asks if he thinks what we just saw was funny. He says his life and marriage are not a joke. Drake calls out Elias for a fight. Elias comes out with Dana Brooke. Elias easily dispatches of Drake. Drake attempts to escape, but Brooke brings him back in the ring and Elias hits Drift Away. Dana Brooke comes in and Elias mocks covering him.
The Miz is seen with his bags when he comes across a room slightly opened and with red lighting. He enters. He sees that the family portrait of himself is replaced with a picture of Bray. Wyatt comes from behind and hits a Sister Abagail on Miz while placing the portrait on top of him.
Back from commercial, a referee is backstage with The Miz as he’s recovering and asks where’s the photo.
Ali and Shorty G vs. Lucha House Party vs. The Revival vs. Heavy Machinery – Fatal Four Way Elimination #1 Contender’s Match
Heavy Machinery eliminates Lucha House Party with The Compactor. The Revival eliminate Heavy Machinery with a roll-up after Wilder gets a shot from the outside. The Revival then eliminate Ali and Shorty G when they hit the Shatter Machine on Shorty G. They will go on to face The New Day at TLC for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
Winners: The Revival
The New Day go to the back, but not before Scott Dawson tells them the play time is over. He says no more pancakes, unicorns and silly gimmicks. They will no longer stand for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships being disgraced. Dash Wilder says they are taking things back to the old days, and that they will beat them with good old fashioned tag team wrestling. Dawson tells them that after TLC, they can go on their podcast and say what it was like to lose to the best team in the company.
Roman Reigns is interviewed about what he plans to do to Dolph Ziggler like Robert Roode last week. Reigns says that if they can’t handle the big fight, that’s their problem. He then says he will embarrass Corbin at TLC, and questions why he would even need the help of Roode and Ziggler with his physical attributes. Team Corbin hasn’t gotten the job done, and at TLC, Roman will be the one embarrassing Corbin.
We get another promo by Sheamus hyping his return. He calls SmackDown weak and lazy. He also says that the titans he used to face have become pale shadows of their former selves. They face no real competition, and no one fierce to stand against them. However, the Celtic Warrior has come home and he’s ready to ravage everything and everyone who gets in his way.
Lacey Evans vs. Nancy Jones
Evans wins relatively easily with a Woman’s Right.
Winner: Lacey Evans
After the match, Sasha Banks comes out and she tells Lacey to stay in the ring because they have business to take care of. Banks reminds Lacey who she is, being the leader of this women’s division and calls Lacey pathetic. She also calls her a Mary Poppins wannabe and to never mess with either her or Bayley again.
Evans tells Sasha to never say anything about her daughter again, and reminds Sasha that she herself is a United States marine, and she doesn’t want her to put the boots back on. Evans explains that she came out last week because someone had to hold Sasha and Bayley accountable for their failures. She says unlike her, she has leadership which the Marine Corp endowed in her.
She also says she knows how to fight, and if she wants, she can dropped like last week. Lacey pretends to hit the Woman’s Right before Sasha falls to her feet scared. Lacey leaves the ring. Bayley ambushes her from behind and Sasha gets a shot in of her own.
Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler
Corbin tries to distract the referee, but Roman hits a Superman Punch. Ziggler goes for a roll-up, but Roman kicks out and hits a Spear for the win.
Winner: Roman Reigns
After the match, Roman hits a drive-by on Corbin. The men who carried Corbin out on his throne start to jump him, but Roman fights them all off. Corbin attacks Roman from behind, but Roman fights back. Someone from under the ring grabs onto Roman’s leg, but he still fights everyone off.
Ziggler has a pair of handcuffs, and while Roman momentarily fights off, Corbin starts to handcuff Roman while Ziggler rakes Roman’s eyes. They have Roman tied to the ring post and Corbin continues the assault. Ziggler joins in. Then, Ziggler and Corbin take cans of dog food and pour it over Roman’s head. Roman is showered in the food as SmackDown goes off the air.
