The Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre are out for a promo to open the show. Sheamus brings up that he and McIntyre have quite the history with one another, having gone to war several times inside the ring. However, they’ll team up at WarGames and fight on the same side against The Bloodline. He asks McIntyre to be an honorary Brute, and McIntyre accepts.
Just when the fifth member of their team is about to be introduced, Sami Zayn interrupts things. Zayn says The Bloodline doesn’t care who their fifth member is, as they’re going to win anyway. Sheamus warns that The Bloodline will “crap their pants” when they find out who the final member is.
First Round Match for the SmackDown World Cup Tournament: Mustafa Ali vs. Ricochet
Ricochet hits the Shooting Star Press for the victory.
Winner: Ricochet
Backstage, Jey Uso yells at Sami Zayn from speaking on behalf of The Bloodline. Jimmy tries to calm things down, suggesting they all need to be on the same page before Roman Reigns gets here. He then says they need to focus on finding out who the fifth member of The Brawling Brutes’ team is.
Backstage, Emma wishes Madcapp Moss luck and offers encouragement to him before his match with Karrion Kross tonight.
Karrion Kross (w/ Scarlett) vs. Madcap Moss
Kross picks up the win on Moss with Kross Jacket.
Winner: Karrion Kross
After the match, Emma comes out to check on Moss.
Bray Wyatt comes out for a promo. He apologizes to LA Knight for what he did to him, saying he had a moment of weakness and strayed from his path. Knight then comes out and says that he has been replaying their encounter with one another over again in his head. Knight says that he’s not sure what to say to Wyatt’s apology, but he does see respect in his eyes. He slaps Wyatt and says he accepts his apology now that they’re even.
Wyatt agrees that they’re even, saying there’s a lot he wants to do to him, but he’s fighting his urges. Knight slaps him again and Wyatt flips out, starring Knight down. Uncle Howdy flashes on the titan tron meanwhile.
Shayna Baszler (w/ Ronda Rousey) vs. Shotzi
Shotzi rolls Baszler up for the win off a distraction.
Winner: Shotzi
LA Knight is shown leaving backstage. He’s interviewed and asked if he’s leaving because he’s scared. He said he’s leaving because he’s done working for the night.
Back from break, Knight is seen laid out backstage.
Imperium vs. New Day and Braun Strowman
The New Day hit Midnight Hour on Kaiser for the victory.
Winners: The New Day and Braun Strowman
Backstage, Ricochet and Strowman confront each other ahead of their “SmackDown” World Cup Match next week.
First Round Match for the SmackDown World Cup Tournament: Sami Zayn vs. Butch
Butch hits Bitter End for the victory.
Winner: Butch
After the match, The Bloodline and The Brutes begin to brawl. Roman Reigns comes out and begins to go to work on The Brutes. The Bloodline look to get the upper hand but suddenly Kevin Owens’ music hits. He is The Brawling Brutes’ fifth member. Owens eats a Superman punch from Reigns while staring down Zayn, but Owens reverses a Spear into a Stunner.
